Aaand finally we have Rubedo. I'll post other references veeery soon. I'm also gonna work on my pinned post again. It's mainly gonna contain all new references and other stuff for me to work with when drawing.

Moth Rubedo tends to make places he often visits more 'comfortable', usually by placing his silk n cocoons in corners of the room. The cocoon acting as a very sturdy hammock.

What started as a joke is now my hc, remember not to let Rubedo in your room.

Three stages of transformation. Three journals. One inner journey.

Nigredo: the black phase. In alchemy and Jungian symbolism, Nigredo represents darkness, dissolution, and confrontation with the shadow. It is the moment when the old self begins to break apart so something deeper can emerge. A descent into chaos before rebirth.

Albedo: the white phase. After darkness comes purification. Albedo symbolizes clarity, reflection, inner cleansing, and awakening. The fog begins to lift, and the self becomes more conscious, balanced, and whole.

Rubedo: the red phase. The final stage of the Great Work. Rubedo represents integration, vitality, passion, and completion : the union of opposites into a transformed self. Not perfection, but wholeness.

Black. White. Red. Shadow. Clarity. Completion.
