Best thing Iâve seen in an ITV show off late?
Is someone calling out a female leadâs sacrifice. YES! I mean ofc Abhi is a bit of an ass as the way he went about it but FINALLY it felt nice to watch someone going:
âWHAT IS THE USE OF YOUR SACRIFICE AND THIS INTERNAL NEED OF BEING GREAT WHEN THIS SACRIFICE HAS RUINED EVERYTHING!â
And the reason why I love it because I am exhausted of watching female leads being lauded for having âkept quietâ about a secret that ideally shouldâve been revealed or âmaking sacrificesâ with everyone cheering them on when that sacrifice actually ruins lives for a lot of people.Â
No. Keeping quiet and sacrifices are far too romanticized. They are NOT worth it. The consequence of the actions determine the worth of the sacrifice!Â
And ofc, while making the decision to keep quiet or sacrifice you arenât aware of how this works out - but what matters is when youâve seen the ultimate result of your actions - YOU NEED TO REFLECT.Â
Lol I know Iâm expecting a LOT from Indian television (like the show doesnât even put the blame on Akshara but paint that Aarohi and Abhi are being numbskulls for asking why she went on sacrificing)Â - but hey, when Abhi went that he hated Akshara sacrificing her love because her sister also loved the same guy (and her sacrificing it by denying that she ever loved him), that made sense.Â
Sigh, I know the show is still making Akashara âamazingâ for having sacrificed - but I got my two minutes joy when Abhi and Aarohi went âwtf why would you do this that effectively destroyed two families?â

For the record, I wholeheartedly blame you and Starlity for my favorite ship(Ennoshita/Nametsu), what do you have to say for your crimes
HOW DID I NOT GET A NOTIF FOR THIS?!?!?!
I'M SO SORRY ANYWAY
I am very proud of myself, I wholeheartedly accept this blame and I think we must all make more content for them because they're adorable and also this ship would spite Futakuchi so much

âThe one imperishable which is in the Heart at all times is self-luminous. How to write it?â
đď¸
EKAM AKSHARAM - THE ONE LETTER AND THE ONE IMPERISHABLE
Letter 62, 18th August, 1946
A few days ago some Gujaratis who had come from Bombay purchased some Ashram books and Bhagavanâs photos and showing them to Bhagavan, requested him to write his name on the books. âWhat name should I write?â asked Bhagavan. âYour name,â said they. âWhat name have I?â said Bhagavan. When they said, âYour name is Ramana Maharshi, is it not?â Bhagavan said smilingly, âSomebody said so. Really what is a name or a native place for me? I could write only if I had a name.â The Gujaratis went away quietly without saying anything further.
In January 1945, you remember that you sent your book on Banking with a request that Bhagavan might be pleased to write in it the word âOMâ or âSRIâ and return it to you, and Bhagavan declined to do so. Instead, he gave me a piece of paper, on which he wrote a Telugu translation of a verse that he had written long back in Tamil when Somasundaraswami made a similar request. When I sent that slip of paper to you, you took it as an upadesa, a precept from Bhagavan, and were overjoyed. Subsequently, he made some slight alterations therein. Later on Bhagavan translated it into Sanskrit as a sloka at the request of Muruganar [...]. It means:Â
âThe one imperishable which is in the Heart at all times is self-luminous. How to write it?â
I was reminded of all this when the Gujaratis made a similar request today and got a refusal.
About ten months ago, Pantu Lakshminarayana Sastri, Telugu Pandit, Maharajahâs College, Vizianagaram, came here. After praising Bhagavan with verses composed extempore, he appealed to Bhagavan thus: âPlease let me have something to commemorate this event and bless this poor soul.â âWhat shall I give?â asked Bhagavan. âAnything you please; just an aksharam (letter) by way of upadesa,â he said. Bhagavan said, âHow can I give that which is âaksharaâ?â and so saying he looked at me. I said, âIt will perhaps do if you tell him about the sloka Ekamaksharam.â Sastri asked, âWhat is that sloka?â I read out that sloka. âWhere is that dwipada?â asked Bhagavan [1]. I read out that too. Sastri was overjoyed as if he had got a great treasure, and copied both the sloka and the dwipada. When I told him about the circumstances under which those two were written, he felt very happy and went away after bowing before Bhagavan. I remembered all this when Bhagavan was saying to the Gujaratis, âWhat is a name or a native place for me?â Not only this. I was reminded of a song which mother used to sing while engaged in her domestic work, the meaning of which is somewhat as follows:Â Â
âRamanamam is the wide universe which has no name or body or work. It has a lustre surpassing the moon, the sun and the fire.â
Ramanaâs name also is just like that!Â
