I thought that already posted these Dark Hunters Revamps. Here are:

Low key, kind of like the idea of Toa Nidhiki and Krekka as a couple (well could be my nostalgia because I really like these two when I was a kid.)

Honestly, though I don't often have the bandwidth for them (so, uh. please be conscious when sending ideas in), I really do enjoy these "what would these characters look like" asks because Bionicle's design logic and worldbuilding kind of gives me fairly free reign to design some real weird beasties

The Shadowed One is a bit of a special case- ordinarily, I do try and base my designs off the toys as best I can, since it feels a bit disingenuous to totally disregard them. TSO, however, I didn't realize had a toy design, I thought (for some reason) that he was a book-exclusive character like Lariska, so when I wanted to get my interpretation down, I just went off my own instincts as to what he might look like and then wound up liking that better even after finding out he did indeed have a toy.

After the long, subtle era of peace, the Dark Hunters had finally amassed enough power and clout to become a geopolitical power in our own right. And, like all political entities, we became enmeshed in negotiations and wars.

The Toa-Dark Hunter War turned out to be a great recruitment effort for the enemies of Metru Nui. Subterranean was rejected by his city, and turned to join its attackers. Tyrant made a military pact with Odina and made a grab at power. And, famously, Toa Nidhiki betrayed Metru Nui and was in turn betrayed by them, leaving with us at the conclusion of the war.

In the millennia afterwards, the Dark Hunters laid low, focusing on recruitment to avoid another humiliating defeat. Brainless muscle like Airwatcher, Krekka, and Poison made good additions to the team. Inspired by Nidhiki, I also began recruiting disgruntled would-be and former Toa, including Savage and Spinner.

More Dark Hunter revamps. This time we have: Amphibax, Hordika Dragons, Subterranean, Prototype, Poison, Silence and Airwatcher.
