In his mischief, Triglax has likely ruined a lot of relationships and reputations, especially if he kills the real deal before they can clarify otherwise. If the true person’s body is found, people will still think and remember them as having been a sudden jerk before mysteriously dying out of nowhere. Even when he’s not on a mission, Triglax still takes delight in causing misunderstandings and even framing people, just for sick kicks.

Catlin found herself sharpening her knives for the second time that day, and blinked. It had been a slow day in the infirmary. Then again, most days had seemed fairly slow, after the excitement with her last notable patient. The medics had worked hard to clean up every last trace of hordika venom, but with the Overseer’s slaves gone, there was a lot of menial work they weren’t used to doing themselves. The slabs still had gouges and scrapes in them from Lurker’s claws, and there were dents in the wall and broken lightstones still hanging.

She stared at a deep scratch in the slab, remembering the path Lurker’s talon had taken as it narrowly missed her head - then sighed. She didn’t like seeing the infirmary in this condition. I suppose that’s something to do, she mused, turning to fetch some cauk and repair supplies.
