Halfway through the year, this is what I’ve read. Any recommendations for the next half?

It's hard not to feel sad around this time of year. Itom crossed the rainbow bridge on the 23rd of December three years ago. My mom had just left us several weeks before that. I remember being overwhelmed by grief. The waves were endless. Saying goodbye to Itom was like letting go of El Señor Don Gato—his best friend (the Don Quixote to his Sancho Panza)—again. I don't think I will ever get over the grief, of the loss. I hope that you are both having catnip martinis over the rainbow bridge.
