#advice poll

Context: I'm a gay boy. I went to a birthday party of a girl named Sara over the weekend. Sara lives with my best friend, Kate. Kate, Sara and I all went to a pre-party at a couple's house who are some of Sara's best friends (Anna and Mark). It was my first time meeting them. Kate's currently working her way into this friend circle too. They had a big group of girls over for the pre-party. We then went to the party, was fun - drinks, some other substances, everyone was on a good buzz. Sara ends up a little too wasted to stay out, but still wants to hang with everyone. We decide to return to Sara and Kate's flat for the afterparty, but the only person who came back with us was Mark and all the others stayed out at the clubs.

We continue to have drinks, do some lines, smoke some weed, etc. until Sara gets too sleepy and goes to bed. It's about 4:30 in the morning at this stage. Kate gets tired next, and I say that we'll finish our drinks and leave - but Mark chimes in and asks if we can smoke another joint (I am the one who brought the weed and can roll joints). Kate says she'll go to bed and we were good to hang longer, just to keep it down and lock up after we're done.

Kate goes to bed, Mark and I smoke another joint, and then are chilling back on the couch. Mark suddenly reaches over, and starts playing with my hair, and says "I want you" (just like that). In my intoxicated state, I'm intreagued, and rather than rejecting him, I leant in - and ended up giving him head, then he went home. I had the impression this was the first time he'd done anything with another guy. I am aware that I did the wrong thing in this situation - not a question about that.

The question to the poll is the following: Do I have a responsibility to share this information to any of the friends listed in the story - and who should be told? Or is this better to keep to myself? I don't want to out anyone, nor cause a massive rift in a friend group, or end a relationship unnecessarily.

for my ehno story I feel like at least part of the first chapter would make sense from Auberon’s perspective but sometimes I don’t like reading fics that switch around what do you guys think.

person 1: my wonderful peak girlfriend. were long distance and we always have been, met over social media when we were like 15 and thought online dating was the shit but it did actually work out and we truly fell in love chatting regularly. not many people irl in either of our lives know about us, and in particular she lives in a pretty religious area compared to me. shes gender fluid but in her country, shes a girl, and bc of her religion if i were to try to marry her i would have to convert. plus, theres a lot i dont know about this religion, but dating to begin with is honestly. not that accepted. also: im also a little gender?? androgynous???? something? lowkirk nonbinary but i have a job so im not gonna worry about it type shit. and her religion HATES that. i think bc im anxious about how many hoops wed have to jump to actually be in a irl relationship, im just sorta goin crazy

we dont call like at all bc of how crazy our timezones are and were both still young/live with family so its hard to ever find time alone. weve heard each others voices and have seen each others faces and also i was gonna visit her this summer but my mom ended up sayin never mind we cant and i still havent told her and uuuuh basically help i love her but hoolyshit

person 2: met this guy through a mutual friend, closer irl he lives a couple towns over weve met up irl a couple times hes actually so fucking cute that its horrifying. ik he wouldnt want me in that way even tho he is pan mostly bc hes still not over his ex and hes made it clear this shits platonic but hell do shit like listen to my playlists or like accidentally touch my hand but that shits not romantic. and im tired of my brain acting like it is i feel so so fucking disgusting about it. hes also actually a year and a half younger than me, so theres a whole grade level in between us. not the biggest deal in the world, but a pain in the ass to navigate. hes just so so so fuckin cute that i need to kill myself

ive been datin my gf for almost 2 years now, after a full year and a couple months, so in october 2025 is when i sorta started liking this guy. i dont like that i still like him. back in october my gf actually also briefly fell for someone else (a girl actually lol) so i told her about this guy and she was chill with it. i havent told her that i still like him since then tho

he doesnt like me but she does, so realistically ill stay with her. i do like her i love her a lot too but i think some weird guilt of mine plus a respect of her boundaries means i cant see her sexually as much as romantically. meanwhile i NEED to fuck this guy this is actually a problem. am i the asshole for stayin with her if this is whats happenin.

So, I started this Yotsubato pose meme with the GW2 zombies, and I was super happy with how it was going for the first hour or so.

BUT THEN

I found out that Deadbeard is apparently taller than Super Brainz??? (Which feels incredibly wrong imo, even if it’s only by a little bit) Idk why I didn’t check the heights beforehand. For some reason, in my head, Deadbeard is shorter than SB. So now I’m stumped on what to do next…. Please help !!!

*of course, don’t feel pressured, i just want to know so that i can apply the results of this poll to future things as well.

edit: i would really, really, really appreciate if you could elaborate a little bit in the comments maybe, or even on an anon ask or something. i genuinely don’t know and even if i come to a definitive answer through this poll, i’d like to know how different people view this dilemma of mine so that i can apply those perspectives to future situations. don’t feel pressured, please, but it would be extremely appreciated.

context:

there’s this guy that sits next to be in one of my classes and he’s really loud.

not in a talking way, in a moving and noises way. he slams his backpack down at the beginning of class every day, loudly unzips it, takes his things out one by one very loudly, slams it on the desk, zips his backpack again very loudly, unzips his pencil case very loudly, rummages in it, and slams a few pencils, pens, markers, and highlighters on the desk. then, he will flip loudly through his notebook page by page until he reaches an empty one.

he also doesn’t use any of the stuff he takes out—he just takes it out really loudly, and then puts it away equally as loudly. he tends to arrive slightly late to class and also to pack up early, so it’s kind of distracting, but only a little. i more just really hate it.

often in class, he eats, and it’s not forbidden, but he chews with his mouth open and makes loud smacking and breathing noises, and he crinkles the packaging quite loudly too.

i have a big hatred of this kind of noise because it makes me feel really prickly and sometimes even pushes me to the verge of tears if i’m having a really bad day, but i think it might be rude to ask him to be quieter, because i don’t know why he’s loud. on the other hand, it really, really, really makes me very uncomfortable because of the nature of the noise and my proximity to it.

i’m also hesitant to ask because i often struggle with spontaneous articulation and talking in general, and i’m afraid of misspeaking and being offensive. the noise puts me on edge also, so i’m a bit nervous too about accidentally being really mean, because discomfort kind of shrinks how well my brain-to-mouth filter works, and i don’t want to impulsively insult him or be rude.
