Borshia seems to have a really bad attitude while his rock band manager Tito tries to take photos of Borshia and his rock band The Borshettes. Orange and White
In a fit of angst and creative drive, I wrote a short fanfiction about myself late at night.
I decided to continue working on my project at a cafe. Constantly doing it at home was boring and got dreary after a while, but at least here the atmosphere put me at ease. The place was well lit and seemed to have an orangish glow about the place, and the acoustic radio station played just under the lull of the crowd. I found it very relaxing. A different pace to the usual music I listened to, and change was good. I sat down by myself a couple spots away from the entrance, opened up my laptop, and started to work away. Often softly talking to myself as it helped me to get my thoughts in order. I also liked sitting near the entrance to catch a glimpse of those entering and exiting the building. I guess you could could call me a people watcher. Well, it just so happened on that day, somebody entered that set my heart (and head) reeling in an instant. I glanced up from my laptop after hearing the door open and felt my eyes widen ever so slightly. There walked in a girl. She was quite tall, taller than me even, and her hair was a striking shade of orange, brought out more so by the warm lighting. The shirt she wore was baggy and a dark grey, with some sort of logo on the front left shoulder. She also wore a pair of jeans that suited her figure very nicely. She glanced around the place and I caught her gaze for a mere second before she went up to the counter to place an order. If she could read read minds in that moment, sheâd likely witness an explosion.Â
I reluctantly glanced back at my work and started toying with it again, but was quickly pulled away as I watcher her taker her order and walk to a table. âLooks like coffeeâ I thought. She sat down in a corner to my right and took out her phone. I turned back to my work, but now that I saw her, I couldnât focus. There really wasnât a point trying to get anything done now. All I could now was... âDo it you monkey!â I suppose I could, as I was feeling very confident today. I had a refreshing shower that morning, making my hair look great, and I also decided to wear all white today. (I look great in white) White jeans and a white shirt with the character Zuko on it. The only thing not white were my black shoes, but given that I had black hair hair, maybe it did match in a way? I turned and glanced once more and caught her smiling down in response to something on her phone. She had an absolutely adorable smile... Well this was it. I hyped myself up for eight minutes, it was now or never. I closed my laptop and quickly packed it up. I strapped the backpack on my back and let out a breath.
Here we go.
I had practiced somewhat already. I gave out notes on the bus to girls I thought were cute. A few of them actually got in contact with me afterwards and we started talking. Nothing really came from them but I made them all feel really good and that was the main goal anyways. This would be in person and said verbally rather than through a note however... but I could do it. I walked over and as I got near I saw her eyes dart up to look at me.
âExcuse me, I just wanted to say that I think you are incredibly cute!â She flashed a big smile.
âThank you so much!â I flashed a big grin back, She quickly looked me over. âWhats your name?â She asked.
âAvery, and yours?â
âMeagan.â She responded back.
âWell youâre very welcome Megan!â And then I said something that startled me. It wasnât planned in the slightest, but the situation seemed right, we were just introduced, and instinct kicked in. âMay I sit and join you?â
âShe you can!â She smiled again. I took off backpack and laid it under the chair then sat across from her.
And so, we conversed. Starting a brand new conversation with someone is delicate work. Awkward silence can be the death of it, and thankfully the only silence that came was her taking a break to sip from her coffee. We hit it off really well and soon found ourselves very comfortable around each other. The subjects varied quickly and vastly, such as our current situations, our goals and dreams, our favourite TV shows, our family, our friends, movies, school, and even our own insecurities. Over an hour passed with both of us unaware of the time flying by. Eventually the conversation was directed to love life.
âAre you seeing anybody right now?â I asked. It had come up that we were both the same age, so this question kept prying at me.
âNo. I havenât dated anyone for over a year now. And what about you?â
âNah. The only time I dated someone was in high school briefly. Iâm not even sure Iâd call it dating honestly. Still doesnât mean I canât try right? With that being said, this was absolutely wonderful  and Iâd love to spend more time with you.â I gave her a big genuine smile and she responded in turn, nodding her head down then back up.Â
âIâd like that too,â She said softly. âOh, I suppose I should give you my phone number...â
âNo thats fine. I donât have a phone right now anyways. Iâll send you a friend request on Facebook though if thats alright with you?â
âSounds good to me!â And with that we got up and left together, walking down the sidewalk. Talking only a little.
âYou knowâ Meagan started, âI donât usually go for guys shorter than meâ she said taking a friendly jab at me.
âPerhaps, but girls arenât usually as tall as youâ I poked back. We walked a couple blocks then said our goodbyes and parted ways at a crosswalk. I was constantly smiling the rest of the day, and I nearly danced instead of walked anywhere. That night I was so excited for the possibilities I couldnât sleep. A grin still on my face, I sent her a Facebook message.
âHey, you doing anything tomorrow?â
-ALTERNATE ENDING-
âMay I sit and join you?â
âOh...â She started. âNo thank you, I have a boyfriend.â
âOh okay.â I stammered awkwardly as I proceeded to take a pistol out of my pocket. Cocking it, I aimed down and shot my right foot, clipping me through the floor. After falling out of bounds for a few seconds I respawned outside the cafe. Casually I walk cycled away like nothing even happened.
How are you doing, is a question of that many ask but most don't mean it. Trying to do/be something is fake. What's the deal with you not being yourself? đDo you let them get away with murder? đGet away with disrespecting? đDo you praise them about everything they do that is good? đĽShow them and encourage kindness, respect, manners, work ethic, determination?
