“What do Angels dream about?” Joshua asked, his voice coming from directly behind the older being. His hand were slipped into his pockets, snow crunching underfoot as he walked towards him. Though, there’s something distinctly off about the sound, like he’s crunching through glass rather than frozen water. 

The way the crystals cling to his pants definitely resonants more as glass, not even beginning to melt on the dreaming Composer.

“...” She’s creeping up silently behind the man, a large stuffed animal covered in scratch marks held firmly in her arms. There’s a Decadraven walking behind her, talons tapping a bit more noisily. Its beak reaches out, only for Arietta to turn around and give it a silent huff. It stops and clicks its beak.

Arietta turns around again, only to see that she’s been noticed! She stays still for a moment, holding her doll up more.

"You could say that, but I wouldn't believe you," Shiba scoffed lightly, though it was clear he hadn't taken offense to anything. His expression had been stoically neutral, but the edges lifted into something of a faint smile.

"My joy...?" Shiba chuckles a little, but there's something flat about it. It wasn't that long ago that Shiba would have answered with all kinds of things. Shinjuku, Hishima, the other members of their intrepid group...

But none of those things had been worth Shiba's time. He'd gone on to bigger and brighter things.

His smile widens, and his eyes practically gleam with energy.

"Why, the Game, of course! There's nothing in the world that sets my heart aflame more." He waves his arm across the entirety of Shibuya grandiosely.
