Australia fires 2019/2020
I’ve been aware of the fires raging throughout Australia since November 2019, when I held a presentation about it in my english class.

I thought by the time I had presented and done with it, since the fires had been going on for a while already then, it would’ve eased down. That the fires may have grown weaker, the firefighters in AU gotten more help from other countries so the fight against the flames would’ve been more effective and that the critical condition in AU wouldn’t be as bad as it was then.
Instead it seems like the fires have grown more vicious, taking lives of even more humans and animals, destroying an enormous amount of precious homes for all species. When I was researching and learning about them, the smoke emerging from the fires were bad enough already and people had trouble breathing in specific areas in AU, but now AU has turned red. Breathing probably feels like how it would be to sniff and breathe coal powder.
The fires have gotten a lot of attention since 2020 started, and it wasn’t a second too late. Our thoughts, our hearts and our entire soul is concerning you now, Australia and everyone else that has been affected, both humans, firefighters and animals alike. Homo Sapiens aren’t in fact the only creatures affected by these fires. It is estimated that almost 480 million animals (https://www.bbc.com/news/50986293 ) have been affected by the named fires which is 150 million more than the US population today according to this site. Humans all over the world.
The ones who have or have not donated, some doing it right now and some considering doing it.
The ones who have shared pictures and stories about the situation in AU on Facebook, Insta, Twitter, etc.
The ones who have spread it and continue to do that to friends and family, colleagues and students, fellow internet users and pupils.
The ones who doesn’t know how to help and feel completely, and utterly helpless.
You can all help by caring. I choose to believe that by knowing that people all over the entire world, are conscious and cares about what’s happening to them, their home and their huge variety of animals, they will manage to find some back-up strength stored up in the deepest part of their bodies. This world needs a little bit more kindness and compassion because nothing makes you feel more alone, than being convinced that no one cares about you. That no one is coming. That you are all alone with your pain,
Let us act, people. Let us do it right now.
