           "Can you hear them?" Cordelia stops to ask, giving her friend the biggest grin possible. "Shh, you have to listen to them, actually listen around you. They'll talk, some even sing." Taking steps closer to peek her head around a tree, she grins even more when she spots the nymphs. "Come here! Come here! I swear they're friendly! But, don’t get too close!"               “   okayyy  ,  well  .    ”   hands  would  clasp  atop  the  torn  baseball  cap  that  donned  her  head  ,   lips  puckering  sideways  in  a  way  that  made  her  appear  less  guilty  than  she  actually  was   .    “   people  were  yelling  and  i  sort  of  forgot  about  the  law   .   ”    a  meager  shrug  ;  her  older  brother  have  always  told  her  the  two  best  remedies  against  a  crime  is  to  either  play  at  being  coy  or  to  own  up  to  it  ------  but  unlike  him  ,  she  doesn’t  exactly  have  a  horde  of  thugs  to  back  her  up  ,  now  does  she ?    “   . . .  soo what  do  you  say  ,  stranger ?   wanna  let  me  off  the  hook  just  this  once ?   ”
