This week's message came as I was meditating on the #CancerFullMoon and watching the #UrsidMeteorShower during the #WinterSolstice The Ursids happening around winter solstice time and originate from the Ursa Major & Minor constellations aka The Big Bear and The Little Bear aka Big Dipper and Little Dipper or as #HarrietTubman may call it #TheDrinkingGourd Navigators, sailors, and other travelers since ancient Phoenicia would follow the #NorthStar and find their way back home from wherever they were located in the world. Harriet Tubman followed the North Star to freedom to escape slavery and made the dangerous missions back 300 times to rescue others. She did this trusting her intuition and the visions that God gave her. In the spirit of Harriet Tubman, we also can follow our own North Stars to freedom, no matter how dangerous or uncomfortable the journey may be. The 4 of Swords says to take some alone time to reflect, retreat, and recover from the strife of 2018. Spirit says if you been "putting up the good fight" all of 2018, dont bring that energy into 2019. It's time to leave the baggage of 2018 in 2018. Spirit says heal yourself so that you're cup runneth in 2019. Ace of Cups says "You can't give from an empty vessel" and "Stop looking for NOUNS (people, places, and things) to fulfill you and ask yourself what you need to do to be fulfilled within yourself." The Expansion card says to seek counsel from people who support you. Be mindful of the NOUNS in your life that speak life into you vs. those that drain you. Set some healthy boundaries, communicate your needs and concerns, and if there's a problem, dont be afraid to find new, better NOUNS to be around in 2019 if need be. Dont be afraid to tell people you need your space and also give people their space to work on themselves. (BTW, thanks to everyone who reached out/sent positive thoughts to me while I was under the weather.) So 1st card pulled was The Lovers, 2nd card pulled was the Ace of Cups Reversed. My initial impressions are that the Lovers cards is more the focus while the other is supporting it.
