Me saying I hc a character as gay and ace/aro isnβt inherently homophobic. People often hc characters to have a certain sexuality to feel comfortable with themselves. I deserve to have headcanons that represent me and comfort me.
Not all ace/aros think gay people shouldnβt express their sexuality or have a sex life, just like most gay people arent pedophilic. Those who are give us a bad name and we get grouped together.
Like Iβve said before, ace/aros saying theyβre uncomfortable with sex/romance is different from telling gay people not to express themselves. It isnt because theyβre gay.
