So I turn 18 in 3 days and I've lived with my abusive mother the past 18 years, I have been emotionally, physically and mentally abused. She found out I'm moving out and has made my life a living hell. She took all of my belongings out of my room and locked them up somewhere, including clothes, pictures and my birth control. All of which I bought myself. I am so close to getting out but I have absolutely no idea how to get my stuff back, especially the things I can't replace. I already bought a different car, and a different phone but some things I can't just replace.

I’m so exhausted. I stood up for myself and now I risk losing a place to live. I wonder if being back on the streets will be better than this…

The hardest part is taking care of myself while being under a lot of stress. I think my body has become a lot weaker because of how I used to eat and purge. Whenever I get stressed out and eat a small amount of food it rushes back up. Its hard to hide suddenly springing up and racing to a bathroom or trash can. Right now I'm eating at most half the amount of food I should be eating and even that makes me queasy. And I know that life is FILLED with stress but I'd rather be sick and stressed in a place that was my own than in limbo. Although I am VERY proud of myself for finally leaving that house I want to be able to say that I'm at where I want to be in my life.
