I want to rave about this ep because it was just!!! So!!! Good!!! But most people aren’t going to get it for 2 more days so I’m adding this to my queue and rambling to myself for now

More time jumps and on the one hand I hate them because KEVIN I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IS DAMIEN OKAY but also they’re so good and well done I almost don’t care that I don’t know what’s happening to my faves

Marc and Arum is not a combination I would have picked to work together but I like it

Arum admitting out loud??? That he has feelings??? And likes someone??? Watered my crops, cleared my skin, etc

The boys said in a commentary that Kevin had to rewrite Marc’s storyline bc the actor couldn’t record for the ep where the boys were going to terminus and Kevin this is the best way you could have possibly done it

The end is so good and so dramatic and it had me on the edge of my seat THE SOUND OF THE SWORD BEING DRAWN WAS SO GOOD AND EPIC AND I LOVED THE SOUND DESIGN SO MUCH I got chills

That entire recorder queue gives me L I F E

Okay but ARUM WON’T MISS HIS DUEL AGAIN DOES THAT MEAN DAMIEN IS OKAY AND HE CHALLENGED ARUM AGAIN WHAT IS GOING ON I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING AND IM SO IMPATIENT (especially since I K N O W there’s no way I’ll be satisfied after next week bc Kevin and Sophie like to torture me personally)

Speaking of Damien and also the recorder, Arum being such a sap at hearing Rilla and Damien’s voices

Just everything. It was all so good. I can’t wait for more and I’ll be over here until I get it

and OOOO WOW did it fuck me up in the best way possible. I didn't know that something that started as a silly D&D podcast could rip my heart out, have me sobbing until I was dehydrated, and then knit my heart back together somehow using my own tears as some sort of weird heart-yarn, but it did.

Imagine my surprise and appreciation when I just saw someone on my feed tag their queued post with "abracafuqueue".
