i was rewatching the OFA trailer again (yes, i love to ruin my life) and i noticed an interesting detail

note how on ALL the windows, the amount of snow and also position is exactly the same. All except ONE. The top left one.

and you may think i’m crazy or too picky, but there’s no way that Disney animation studios did that by mystake ! it’s entirely thought and drawn, so it was 100% on purpose. Look at my comparison between the two windows.

what did they try to tell us with this intriguing detail, you may ask ? oh boy, let me speculate/headcanon a little.

it’s Elsa’s window. Elsa’s bedroom window. she was so stressed and apprehensive about this holiday celebration that it snowed a bit more on her window, or the snow drifted down by her window.

Anna is wearing a hat and gloves that looks like socks and her vest is unbottened i think they were searching for stuff for their holiday tradition

also, she seems to be standing in or in front of a trunk, it could be a trunk that was in the attic or something and Anna searched in it! good guess!!

i thought at first that the scene was happening at night outside, because of the lantern Elsa is holding. But now it hits me : they are in an attic !

this trunk though, i can’t help but think about this scene in Once Upon a Time when Elsa and Anna reunite and Anna steps out of a a trunk OMG IT’S ALL PERFECTLY LINKED

Alors pour commencer je te confirme les rumeurs : Disney France n'a jamais prévu de diffuser le court-métrage avant Coco. (pour la principale raison que ben…. C'est PAS un court-métrage xD)

Je pense que seulement Disney USA a choisi de diffuser OFA avant Coco, j’ai plusieurs échos du monde entier disant que ce n’est pas le cas dans les autres pays non plus.

(Parce que oui j’ai beau ADORER Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, faut admettre que c’est une bien belle connerie de la part du service marketing de WDAS d’avoir glissé 21 goddamn minutes de truc non demandé avant un film, même si c’est du Frozen…….)

Brrrref, pour la VF j’ai aussi hâte que toi (et aussi hâte de me casser les oreilles avec les horribles traductions et les blagues ratées, bien sûr :P) du coup tout ce que je sais c’est que Disney Cinema l’a diffusé le 1er décembre, après est-ce qu’il est en ligne……

about the animation difference, i totally agree. But i can’t tell if it’s exactly the same for OFA than in Frozen Fever. I think it’s mostly because of the technology improvment.Like, in Tangled for example, which was in 2010, they had to INVENT a software for Punzie’s hair. In 2013, the machines gained such power and such strengh that they could manage to invent A NEW software for Elsa’s hair, even though she doesn’t have super long hair like Rapunzel, but WDAS was like ‘hey, we’re Disney, let’s challenge ourselves and push it maximum’ and made Elsa’s hair extreeeeemely detailed.

So I was not surprised to see that, in Frozen Fever, the light rendition was totally DIFFERENT and BETTER than Frozen. It was noticeable in Big Hero 6 too. The light feel so much real. In Moana, it was INSANE.Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, even within a few seconds in the trailer, already looks extremely detailed. You can almost feel the fur of Elsa’s dress in your fingers, and also skin texture like Anna’s face is very precise.

anyway. I’d love to see pics or gifs of all those moments of Elsa’s teeth to compare.

and while i found it super funny and cute (and very Anna-ish), i accidentaly hurt myself with the headcanon of the possible conversation happening during those leaked pics

but then it would mean that Frozen story happens during July, then they… sort of celebrate late Anna’s birthday during, let’s say, August, and then they have their (i quote Disney) “first holiday together since a very long time” in December.

.....it it stills doesn’t make sense when you remember that Elsa clearly said ‘It’s your birthday!’ in Frozen Fever………
