Hello. Call me Indigo. I’m from Cene, I’m blue but my dad is purple. If I talk for five minutes about my family I’ll be trivially identifiable, so please don’t ask me anything about my sister’s opinions, she’s politics-track and good at it and I don’t want to sabotage her.
I do real estate and I’m pretty good at it. I’ve also seen real estate blues fail catastrophically.
No, no, I really can’t justify six months away from managing things. Even if experiment girl could just leave and work remotely; she probably can’t arrange to not teach on this short notice. Just because I’d happily spend my next 20 years with her and want to avoid one empty spring does not make it worth it. I’d get a quarter of one while we were testing anyway. We can wait one more year.

if I were green I would: do economics research, I’m on the board of a couple think tanks and econ is definitely the field I find most interesting.Â
if I were purple I would: work for Dad’s company, probably :-P But in seriousness, I’d probably be like his father and do assembly-line planning; taking a process and splitting it into pieces that can be handed to a series of people or automated.
if I were grey I would: have a martial arts dojo, maybe? Or meditation? I aggressively dislike the fact that I have a body - not just in springtime though it’s worse then, obviously - so it’s hard to imagine being the caste who are all about the body.
if I were yellow I would: Everyone says ‘programming’ but I’d definitely do programming. Like the assembly line thing but with less dealing with people. Score.
if I were orange I would: do curriculum design. I wouldn’t be a bad teacher, but I’d find dealing with anyone who wasn’t gifted-track or research green annoying, and even then I'm not actually good with kids. If I lived somewhere where oranges teach college, econ and/or statistics professor.
if I were red I would: probably be able to think around this sanely enough to have an opinion. Shit-pollution makes my skin crawl much more than corpses, so hopefully I’d be on the corpse side, I guess.

Indigo Moore knew that she was meant for something greater than Lima, Ohio. She was meant to be a star, she always had been, and her mom agreed. So when they heard about a new reality show starting in LA about the lives of up and coming child stars, Indigo was on the next flight west; never to look back.
Except, her show was a flop.
