MINI BIO.

abrielle is a ciderpoint native, having grown up in the small town as the older holder child. pretty much from the get go, she was very much different from her brother. very much suffering from #eldestdaughtersyndrome, she was always the more introverted, reserved, responsible, and overall eccentric one of the household.

socialization and making friends? never easy for her. well, one of her closest friends was her brother ( that counted, right? ). she didn't particularly hold the same hobbies or interests to anybody around. basically, abby had always marched to the beat of her own drum .... preferring her own company more often than not ( and honestly? being okay with that ).

one of her comforts during her upbringing was school. even from a young age, her teachers were quick to observe that she had a sharp mind, one that was ahead of many of her fellow classmates. she was deemed one of the more gifted students her teachers would have, knowing that she was going to go far in life. school and learning genuinely excited her, always craving to know more. she didn't even care that she never had many friends, children being put off by her peculiar, nerdy demeanor.

she had an interest in wanting to pursue a career in medicine for as far as she could remember. science and the world of medicine always peaked her interest, constantly reading books and articles about medicine, devouring any media that was related to it.

their mother's cancer diagnosis and death struck the holder family hard, but it was even more fuel and determination for her to succeed in her future. abby wanted to make her mother proud.

things at home weren't exactly great proceeding their mom's death, their father being unable to cope with the loss and falling hard into alcoholism. selfishly, abby knew she needed to get the hell away for awhile.

by the time she reached high school age, she graduated near the top of her class a year early and was offered many full ride scholarships for pre-med programs. she decided to accept an offer from nyu, moving to new york city for her college career.

abby ends up thriving in under grad, continuing to have impressive marks as she slowly begins the process of applying for medical school. choosing to stay with nyu, she is offered a spot in their prestigious medical school program. of course, she graduates with flying colors.

while she wanted to stay in the big apple for her residency, she decided to pivot her plans a bit and move back home to take an er resident position at ciderpoint general. she decided to do this to be closer with her younger brother, wilson.

SUPRISE !!!! after a random one night stand, she'd unexpectly become pregnant at the age of twenty eight with her daughter rhiannon. the timing wasn't exactly the best, in the thick of her residency program, but she decided to embark the beauty of motherhood.

at the moment, little rhia is now eight months old. abby is busy between work, being a single mom, and maybe ... just maybe trying to be more social and put herself out there.

being the eldest of the litten children, kyra was born to a world of privilege. whatever she wanted, she got ... except her parents attention. she - and her siblings - were raised by nannies and tutors. her parents were only every around when it was a chance for them to look good.

as the only stability in her siblings lives, kyra quickly became like a third parent for them. she was the one that her siblings turned to whenever they needed someone. she was who they went to if they needed a shoulder to cry on. kyra has always loved her siblings but over the years, she has come to resent them.

because of the family that she came from, kyra has always wanted the 'perfect' life for herself. they might not have a lot of love for one other - not even each other - but they had everything else they could need and kyra wanted to continue to live in that level of comfort.

it felt like a step in the right direction to the life that she wanted... when she started dating stellan mercer. their relationship was the start of the 'perfect' life that kyra had always imagined ... because they were. perfect. everyone said so. the star footballer and head cheerleader? it was a match made in heaven.

once high school was over, kyra actually looked forward to the idea of getting out of ciderpoint - away from being the woman who had cheated on her boyfriend when everything else looked perfect. she got a place in yale - her mothers alma mater - and left cider point for seven years.

over those seven years, kyra kept her head down. she worked hard to live up to the expectations that her parents had grown to have for her. they had gone from never being around to being hyper vigilant about what she was doing. they would be damned before they let her ruin the reputation of the litten name.

kyra, however, did everything they could have hoped for and more. in turn, did they turn up to her graduation? no. of course not. all she has ever wanted was their love and approval and even when she did exactly what they wanted, she still never got it.

once law school was done, kyra moved back to cider point - as promised. she studied to pass the bar six months after coming home. she's mostly kept her head down. it's a small town and kyra is well aware that small towns do not forget or forgive easily.

Ocean was born in Cider Point to Oduva and Dawn Igwe and is the youngest of three. Ever since Ocean was young, he had dreams of doing big things. He found a passion for dancing when he was in elementary school. His parents initially worried about what others would think of him, but dancing made him happy, so who were they to get in the way of that? Ocean studied multiple forms of dance, with ballet and contemporary being his favorite. Other kids his age, especially boys, mocked him for his love of dance, but it never once deterred him.

Being as bold as he was helped him settle into a friend group. Though none of them were popular by any means, they had each other, which was the most important thing. The bullying only got worse when he outwardly started identifying as queer. Ocean being attracted to boys wasn't a surprise to anyone, but the fact that he was also attracted to girls was. Figuring out he was on the asexual spectrum didn't come until much later in life. He's had multiple short-term relationships throughout the years with people of all different gender identities and expressions, most of them ending due to physical compatibility issues. Despite the bullies and failed relationships, Ocean was satisfied just having his family and friends by his side.

Ocean's first big break happened when he was seventeen. After multiple rounds of auditions, he was accepted into the dance program at Juilliard. It was a dream come true for Ocean, but a major financial strain for the Igwe family. Even with a generous scholarship, the family had to take out loans so he could attend class and afford dorming. He was only able to attend two semesters of classes before his parents gave him devastating news: his father had a cancerous brain tumor. After finishing his spring semester, he rushed back to Cider Point and started acting as his caretaker.

Because their dad was unable to work, Ocean and his siblings all chipped in with their parents' bills however they could. When he wasn't driving his dad to doctor's appointments, he was working at the local dance studio that gave him his start and uploading dance videos to the internet. It wasn't glamorous, but he could never give up dancing. After a two-year battle, Oduva came out on top. After getting that news, Ocean felt like he could breathe for the first time. However, Oduva was never the same as he was pre-diagnosis. He was unable to return to work after multiple brain surgeries and became much more irritable.
