Klavier learns of Apollo's decision in Khura'in, and is determined to support him in a last-ditch farewell to their friendship. As it turns out, however, Apollo is just as keen to support Klavier, even if it means dredging up bad memories.

âAre you sure you want me to do this DhurkeâŚâ Datz was faced with two tiny, impressionable, and easily harmed children and his resistance was quickly wearing thin.
âItâs an emergency Datz I wouldnât force you if I had any other options but I have to go. Besides theyâre only children Iâm sure you can handle it.â Dhurke was using his leader voice which meant that no was no longer an option.
âFine Iâll watch them. But I wonât like it.â Datz said in a resigned tone.
Dhurke laughed and smiled. âThatâs what I wanted to hear.â Which is how Datz found himself deep in the mountains in the dead of winter babysitting.
âSoooâŚ. Do you kids like⌠sewer lizards?â
Apollo and Nahyuta both turned to each other and stared silently for long enough that it became mildly concerning. After coming to some kind of conclusion through their silent interaction Apollo turned to Datz and spoke. âNot really.â
âOh.â The night went on in that fashion. It wasnât bad per say, the kids did listen to him, and there werenât any big fusses. But he and the kids just werenât connecting. It was almost disheartening, how could he expect to topple the Gaâran regime if he couldnât even get on the good side of a couple of toddlers.
âWhen is father coming home?â Nahyuta asked after getting frustrated with a set of blocks that werenât stacking.
Datz smiled apologetically. âItâs still gonna be a little while Yuty.â
âIâm hungry!â Apollo piped in at an impressive volume from his spot on the floor with a ball.
âWell I can whip up something if I put my mind to it.â Datz said.
The boys were both on their feet before he could finish his sentence. âNo lizards!â they yelled in unison.
âNo lizards I promise, cross my heart.â And as he was saying that an idea came to him that would finally give him the in he was looking for with the kids. âBut⌠if you wanna keep an eye on me to make sure I keep my promise, I could use some assistants.â
Just like that he had them hook line and sinker theyâre eyes lit up like firecrackers at the word assistants and they were waiting for him in the kitchen before he even had a chance to move.
âCome on Datz.â Apollo called balance precariously on top of a stool so he could reach the counter top. And right behind him Nahyuta was pushing a second stool into place.
Datz grinned and walked over to join them. âAlright letâs get to work.â
So as it turns out making a respectable dinner is pretty easy, and watching two kids is still not that difficult. But watching two kids make a respectable dinner sat firmly on the wrong side of impossible. âGently Apollo you have to mix it gently, we want it to stay in the bowl donât we? And Nahyuta please just wait for me to come over there and do the cutting youâll hurt yourself.â
The kitchen had quickly become a disaster zone, as it turned out Dhurke had never let the children into the kitchen before and perhaps it was for good reason. Apollo was all over the place and Nahyuta seemed to be eternally two steps ahead of what he was supposed to be doing. If they got out of this with something edible let alone good it would be a miracle.
But with a little quick thinking on Datz parts and some fairly innovative ideas from the boys they were able to pull together a meal after all. What had started out as fish filets and a rice based side dish had turned into more of a stew situation. But any chef worth their salt knew that all the best dishes started out as mistakes.
âAre you a dragon like father is?â Nahyuta asked.
Datz was slightly taken aback by the question but it seemed innocent enough. âUh, yeah I guess so.â
âHave you ever hunted wild boar before?â Apollo asked.
âOnce or twice.â Another simple if random question, which immediately set of rapid fire inquiries.
âDo you know how to fish?â
âYes.â
âHave you ever seen a bear?â
âOnce or twice.â
âDo you have any kids?â
âWell, no.â
âAre you married?â
âNo.â
âDo you-â
Before the boys could get another volley of questions out at him Datz interrupted. âWhoa whoa whatâs with the interrogation?â
âWellâŚ. Youâre the only defiant dragon father ever lets us meet.â Nahyuta said.
âYeah.â Apollo chimed in. âOther than you and dad no one else really comes up here.â
âWait really.â Datz was surprised to say the least. âNo one else ever comes up here? Not even any other kids?â
âNope.â Apollo stated mater of factly. âItâs just me and Nahyuta, and Dhurke⌠and you sometimes.â
âWell sorry but I donât know anyone I could bring up here with me.â Datz had never really considered what the rebel life might be like for the kids. Letting them play with any of the children from town wasnât really an option not when Gaâran had eyes everywhere.
âThatâs okay, weâre not lonely.â Apollo said. âBut itâs kinda boring sometimes.â
âYeah and father is really busy too.â Nahyuta added.
âIf thatâs all it is then I know a thing or two about combating boredom.â Datz smirked and did a kitchen table friendly version of one of his signature poses. âI could come up here a little more often and play with you.â
âReally, you can?â Apollo grinned and stuck out his pinky. âYou have to promise okay, pinky swear.â
âAlright alright, I promise Iâll come see you as often as I can.â Datz reached out and briefly linked his pinky with the young boy.
âYou promised so you have to okay.â Apollo said.
âYeah yeah you got it.â Datz said with a mock salute, and the dinner went on in good spirits. The cold winter wind was hollowing outside the walls of their cabin but the air inside was warm and full of cheer.
Summary: Everyone in the agency has a lazy day because thereâs no work to do and they would snuggle up on the sofa watching a movie. Contains reference for AA6 ending spoilers
Written for @tehmegacharizardxâ for AA Secret Santa 2016. Hope you enjoy the fic!
Apollo doesnât hide that he misses the Wright Anything Agency, but he doesnât know how much he does until he is back in the states for two weeks for the holidays.
The office is still the same as always in its organized mess. There are new magic props lying by the bookshelf. Charley remains healthy and green â and he never is certain just how old this potted plant is, but he happily waters it when he first drops by. Trucy had put up the usual decorations for the season: Christmas lights hung across the ceiling, and garland and stockings draped on the front desk. As tradition goes, she and Phoenix brings out the lackluster, garish blue aluminum tree. Ornaments from over the years, most of them handcrafted by Trucy in school and by the members during their free time, decorated it.
And for once, December is a peaceful month, free of affairs for the agency. He knows because Mr. Wright is calm and in a good mood. Apollo even checks the calendar and sees that it is remarkably light. Athena walks in from the kitchenette.
âWow, Apollo, youâre looking at it and your eyes are bugging like this is something foreign to you.â
âIn a way, yeah,â he says, laughing. âThings have been busy non-stop ever since I agreed to stay in Khuraâin and work with Nahyuta. I just about forgot what itâs like to barely have any clients or cases to work on over here.â
âIt has been boring, I have to admit.â
âWanna trade places?â
âNo thanks.â She grimaces. âDoing my part to revolutionize the court system here is enough on my plate. Besides, itâs nice to be free from assisting Trucy in her magic shows.â
âI still have nightmares!â Widget blurts.
Behind the front desk, Phoenix chuckles. âOh, donât worry, Iâve talked to her about taming down her assistant tricks.â
âAbout time, Boss.â
Poor Athena. She may have the best endurance out of them all, but she had been less equipped than Apollo to endure all the dare-defying stunts and tricks Trucy demands in her assistant. (âAll for extra cash :( :( :(,â Athena had explained in an email to Apollo).
Trucy arrives at the office then. She drops her schoolbag and yawns loudly, rubbing her eyes. However, as soon as she spots Apollo, she perks up and runs over to tackle him into her famous bear hugs.
âPolly! Welcome back!â
âHey Trucy,â he greets back cheerfully. âHowâs it going?â
âFinally done with finals. Thank god itâs winter break.â
âCongrats! I remember first semester of senior year was gruesome.â
âUgh, donât remind me.â Trucy plops down on the couch and pulls a pillow under her head. âI was already waiting for it to be over when I had to do college applications.â
âAnd you know it was wise for you to take a break from show biz to focus on them,â Phoenix says.
âDaddy, Polly, enough talk about this. My break has officially started.â
She rolls over onto her stomach and picks up the remote, turning on the TV. âI wonder what movie is on.â
âOoooh, a holiday movie sounds like a good idea,â Athena says. She beelines to the couch, and helps herself to move Trucy upright so she is no longer hogging all the space to herself. âApollo, bring out the usual thick blanket.â
âReally?â He sorts through the ever-growing pile of things they keep around for use in the office for the times they wind down. âI did not realize it was that cold here.â
âCourse it is,â Athena whines. âAnything below mid 60s is freezing.â
âIâll have you know we can manage to keep the heater running,â Phoenix deadpans.
Apollo shakes his head. âMan, itâs so nice and toasty coming back here, compared to the frosty winds from the mountains back in the kingdom.â
The three settle down on the couch while Phoenix brings over his office chair to watch with them. Trucy eventually settles on a channel that is about to air the Moozilla Christmas special movie. The new protagonist along with the loyal Moozilla must save the day â and Christmas â along with the guidance of the previous hero, played by 22 years old actor and series veteran John Marsh.
âAlmost ten years later and Global Studios is still milking out money on this franchise?â
âDaddy, donât act surprised. You know they still put out Steel Samurai and Pink Princess series. Itâs all smart business moves.â
Phoenix sighs in exaggeration. âYes, I know, Miss Future Business Major. And to think that Edgeworth got involved in a case where the first movieâs film location happened to be a scene of the crimeâŚâ
âAy dios mios, how does murder get tied up with everything in LA?â
âOh Athena, it just is the way the city has been since the 2010âs,â Phoenix says.
âLess talk of real life crimes, more focus on movie or other fun-filled topics.â While Trucy is sandwiched between Apollo and Athena in their bundled state, with her mocked-stern tone, she may as well have her hands on her hips and giving her disapproved glare.
âEven when itâs a lazy day at the agency,â Apollo starts.
âWe still passionately talk about criminal law,â Athena finishes. âBut sure, letâs cut it down.â
Trucy sticks out her tongue, but nevertheless, she pulls in Apollo and Athena for a tighter group hug.
For most of the movie, they watch in silence. Well, as much as they can, since Phoenix is the type of person who just cannot shut up whenever he is watching something on TV, pointing out something that seems absurd. He, as always, chalk it up to his inner-acting side, given that drama was his hobby back when he was in school.
Two hours later, after the movie finishes, Trucy and Athena call for a stretch break. As it is now past five, Phoenix decides to call it a day, and suggest they go out to dinner. With Apolloâs back in the area since mid-May, he is given the choice to decide where they will go.
Naturally, he picks Eldoon Noodles, because even on a lazy day in LA winter, nothing beats eating salty noodles and broth with all of the Wright Anything Agency.
Athena had always loved Christmas. The agency shone like a lightbulb, wrapped with 3,000 twinkling lights and some glittery garlands. Sheâd also hung a few garlands of popcorn, which her boss was currently enjoying.
âDonât eat the Christmas cheer!â Athena protested as Phoenix plucked a piece of popcorn off the string.
âIâm just trying to fill myself with it,â he replied. âYouâve wanted me to get in the Christmas spirit since October.â
âThat doesnât mean you should eat it!â
Athena sighed. Her boss had never been a holiday sort of guy, which baffled her. At least Apollo had an excuse, growing up in a foreign country.
Someone started knocking on the door. âIs that a client?!â Athena exclaimed. She swung open the door.
Blackquill shielded his eyes. âIncorrect, Cykes-dono.â
Athena groaned. âAll right, Scrooge. Go ahead and come in. Youâre in good company; the grinch is right over there.â
Phoenix waved.
âAre you trying to blind your clients?â
âNo! Weâre just a beacon of light for those who need a Christmas miracle!â
âIâd advise leaving a pair of sunglasses at the door,â Blackquill grumbled.
âOh, bah humbug. What are you here for, if you arenât a client?â
âI came to ask Wright-dono for a bit of advice.â
âAdvice?â Phoenix asked, standing up from the couch. âWhat kind?â
âWeâre doing a gift exchange at the Prosecutorâs Office, and I drew Edgeworth-donoâs name.â
âGood luck with that one,â Phoenix chuckled. âI never know what to get him.â
âI know, that makes it even harder. I canât even buy him a bottle of wine and call it a day anymore,â he complained.
âSo have I come to the wrong place?â Blackquill asked.
âNo. Iâm your best bet for an Edgeworth research database. And I wonât whip you like other Edgeworth scholars I know.â He winced.
âThen what would you suggest?â Blackquill fiddled with the feather in his mouth.
He thought for a moment. âTea is always a safe bet with him. So is anything he can spoil Pess with.â
âPess?â
âHis dog. Oh, and he loves the Steel Samurai too-â
âThat kidâs show Maya likes?â Athenaâs jaw dropped.
âYeah, thatâs the one. Everyone likes to feel like a kid sometimes, though heâll tell you he watches it for the intricate relationships between the characters and the beautifully laid-out plot.â He chuckled. âI wouldnât recommend buying anything that suggests you know he likes the Steel Samurai, though. Theyâre coming out with a new movie, so you could get him a gift card for a movie theater.â
âThis has been quite informative.â Simon nodded. âI suppose Iâll be taking my leave, then. Thank you for your assistance, Wright-dono.â
âAlready?â
âI donât have time for idle chatter. Iâm only allotted one lunch break.â
âAww, fine. Merry Christmas!â Athena considered hugging him, but she figured she would stop while she was ahead.
âMerry Christmas to you, too.â Blackquill closed the door.
âHe actually wished me a Merry Christmas!â Athena whispered, eyes glittering.
Phoenix snickered. âWell, I guess itâs back to work, then.â
âWait! Boss, what are you getting him?â Athena pried. This was too interesting to pass up, especially when toilet cleaning was probably the alternative.
Phoenix grinned. âYou have to keep a secret.â
âBoss, you know I can keep a secret!â Athena pouted.
âOh, just like you kept Trucyâs birthday present a secret?â Phoenix crossed his arms.
âShe was about to buy it for herself! I couldnât let her do that!â Athena protested.
âDo you swear to secrecy under lawyer-client confidentiality?â
âAww, you canât legally bind me to this!â Athena frowned.
âThen youâll have to be left in the mystery-â
âFine,â Athena said. âJust tell me.â
âSo back in the day, I defended Will Powers, the actor who plays the Steel Samurai, in a murder trial. So he agreed to put on a live-action play that hasnât been performed since before I got disbarred. The entire thingâs a surprise, of course.â
âThat is adorable,â Athena said with a small sigh. âMaybe youâve got some Christmas spirit after all.â
âOh, neither Edgeworth or I ever really liked Christmas⌠That was around the time when his dad died and I never saw him again.â
âIs that why you donât like Christmas? Because of Edgeworth?â Athena asked.
Phoenix laughed. âYou know, Iâve figured out by now that Edgeworth was my motive for a lot of things.â His eyebrows furrowed. âBut no, I never disliked Christmas⌠It just wasnât magical for me like it was for everyone else. I knew bad things happened on Christmas, just like they do every other day.â
âOh⌠Thatâs so sad. I always loved the idea of Christmas miracles.â
âHereâs something my old boss told me, Athena: Miracles do exist. But you have to make those miracles happen.â
âYour old boss was really profound.â
âShe was.â Phoenix smiled, and Athena noted he didnât sound all that sad. âChristmas was the day I took on Edgeworthâs defense, you know. It split us apart and brought us back together again.â
âSo Christmas is the day where you made the miracle happen.â
âYeah.â Phoenix smiled. âYou can come, if you want to. To the Steel Samurai show.â
âReally?â
âSure. You could sit with Trucy so she doesnât have to sit with her dad.â He smiled.
âOh, you want to sit alone with him?â
âYeah, exactly. But Iâd need a good excuse not to sit with my kid.â
âWell, youâve got the right girl for the job!â Athena clapped her hand to her fist. âYou can count on me!â
###
âHey, Trucy. You can tie a bowtie, canât you?â
âDaddy, you look ridiculous in bowties.â
âI donât want to dress up in the same way I do in court, though!â
âWear your navy blue suit, then! It looks better anyway.â
Phoenix put on his navy blue blazer and frowned. âIt doesnât feel like me, though.â
âIâm not asking you to gel your hair down or anything,â Trucy said with a smile. âI just donât want you to look like a penguin on such an important day.â
âBut what if I want to look like a penguin? Itâs winter, theyâre festive.â
âWell, itâs too bad you canât tie a bowtie, then.â She smirked.
Phoenix groaned. âFine, Iâll put on the other suit.â
âThere we go!â Trucy smiled.
Phoenix stepped into his closet and stepped out looking a bit less gaudy than before.
âThat looks so good,â Trucy said with a smile.
âYouâre okay with this, right?â
âI just said the suit looks good.â
âNo, I mean⌠Tonight.â
Trucy smiled. âOf course. You know Iâve been waiting for this for forever.â
âYeah, but⌠I just want to be sure.â
âYou are not allowed to be stressed about this.â She put her hand on her hip. âYouâre also not allowed to be late. I just called the taxi; itâll be here in five minutes. Are you ready?â
âI think so,â he said nervously.
Trucy pulled a box out of the blue jacket heâd left on his bed and handed it to him. âAre you sure you arenât forgetting anything?â
âOh. Thanks.â He took the box and put it in his pocket. âI⌠I think Iâm okay.â
âGood. Do you want the magatama back?â
âNo,â he said. âI trust him.â
Trucy hugged her dad with enough power to crack a walnut. âIâm so happy for you.â
âIâm happy for me, too.â
###
Edgeworth straightened his jacket and popped a mint in his mouth. He doubted Phoenix would be on time, but it was good to be ready before 6:30 anyway.
To his surprise, Phoenix actually rang the doorbell at 6:28. It wasnât all that cold, but Edgeworth put on an overcoat anyway, knowing a âsurprise dateâ with Phoenix could involve just about anything.
âHey,â Phoenix said when Edgeworth opened the door. âYou ready?â Pess bounded up to the door to greet Phoenix, who rubbed the dogâs head with a smile.
âThe prosecution has been ready for a while now.â He smirked.
âOf course, I shouldâve known.â Phoenixâs eyes glittered as he smiled. âCome on, before Pess gets his hopes up.â
Edgeworth locked the door behind him after saying a quick goodbye to his dog. Phoenix led him out to a taxi, and Edgeworth was surprised to find Trucy inside.
âAh, thatâs why you were on time,â he said, pointing to her.
âWhat, like I canât stay on time without her?â Phoenix acted as if he were hurt.
âThatâs precisely what I was implying.â
Trucy was chatting enthusiastically with the taxi driver, who seemed to be rather sociable herself. Once their seatbelts were buckled, Phoenix decided to strike up a conversation.
âSo, I heard the Prosecutorâs office had a Secret Santa gift exchange. Was that your doing?â
âNo, that was entirely Prosecutor Gavinâs idea. I was surprised so many people signed up.â
âI was surprised you signed up,â Phoenix said.
âI didnât sign myself up. I suspect Kay did.â He rolled his eyes. âBut I was responsible for buying Prosecutor Debesteâs gift, so I couldnât simply drop out.â
They discussed this for a while, and Phoenix seemed to take a particular interest in what he had received from Blackquill; apparently heâd gone to Phoenix for advice. Blackquill had always been good at doing his research, and Edgeworth had enjoyed the tea heâd received.Â
They arrived at a theater Edgeworth hadnât been to before, which was strange. He knew almost all of the local venues. It was as if Phoenix were taking him to see some college students put on an improv comedy show.
âWhat, exactly, are we seeing?â Edgeworth asked.
âI love this theater. The shows are usually either brilliant or so badly done itâs funny,â the taxi driver said.
âWeâre hoping for the former,â Phoenix joked.
When even Phoenix was prepared to be surprised by his own date, Edgeworth knew to brace himself for an adventure.
Phoenix paid the taxi driver and the three of them walked inside of the theater. It was much more beautiful than Edgeworth had anticipatedâ burgundy and gold lined the inside, and sculptures stood by the entrance.
âTickets, please,â someone said, and Phoenix handed him three. âPlease enjoy the show.â
Phoenix had reserved the best seats in the house, to his credit. They were seated a few rows from the front so they could see the expressions of everyone onstage comfortably.
âThey didnât hand out a program,â Edgeworth said.
âWeird,â Phoenix said, grinning. He was obviously hiding something.
âDonât I have to deal with enough mystery at work?â Edgeworth asked.
âI promise youâll like this,â Phoenix said. He pulled off his overcoat to reveal a navy blue suit underneath and placed it on his chair.
âYouâre wearing your nice suit.â Edgeworth touched his sleeve gently.
Phoenix smiled. âIâm a poker player. I always know which suit I need.â
Edgeworth glared at him and he laughed.
âDeal out any more puns like that and your opponent might forfeit,â Trucy laughed.
âHey, Trucy! I didnât know you were here,â someone said.
âGood evening, Miss Cykes. And⌠Jupiter, was it?â Edgeworth asked.
âJuniper,â she replied shyly.
âDo you want to sit with us?â Athena asked.
âI dunno, I have a pretty good seat,â Trucy said.
âDo you really want to sit with your dad, though?â Athena asked, grinning.
âHuh⌠You have a point,â Trucy said with a laugh.
âMy daughter⌠Taken from me by my co-worker. I never thought this day would come,â Phoenix said in mock grief.
She laughed. âWhatever, Daddy. You have your boyfriend to keep you company.â
âTrue,â Phoenix said, wrapping an arm around Edgeworth, who raised his eyebrows.
After a while, the lights dimmed and a girl walked out with a sword. âAny phone that goes off during this stage production will face capital punishment at my hand. Silence it now, before I do it for you.â
âShe looks like Cassara,â Edgeworth said absentmindedly, turning off his phone. An orchestra began to play sharp notes, and Edgeworthâs eyes widened. He turned to Phoenix, who smiled.
âWhen the moon is bright with a pale blue light and trouble is nearbyâŚ.â
âThat was Cassara.â
Phoenix kissed Edgeworth on the nose. âLove you.â
Edgeworth wouldnât have stopped watching the show if there was an earthquake. The Pink Princess pulled no punches, a character just as real as the Steel Samurai himself. The Pink Princess and the Steel Samurai worked in perfect sync with one another, the Pink Princess taking down herds of lackeys as the Steel Samurai fought the Evil Magistrate. Phoenix had to duck out at one point, but Edgeworth hardly noticed, deeply engaged in the play.
When the play ended and the characters bowed onstage, Edgeworth couldnât believe it hadnât been real. There wasnât a single death that hadnât looked authentic, but no dead bodies lay onstage.
He looked next to him to find that Phoenix was gone. He looked around, eventually processing that Phoenix had gone to the bathroom a few minutes ago. Had he really been paying that little attention to his surroundings?
The Steel Samurai and the Pink Princess stepped onstage and the theater filled with applause, none louder than Edgeworthâs. The cast all bowed at once, only to split in half to let someone walk down the middle. Everything grew quiet as the spotlight focused on him.
âIt was this show,â he began, âthat taught me the love of my life wasnât a complete asshole.â A roar of laughter went through the crowd as Edgeworth slowly realized it was Phoenix onstage, and he was talking about him.
âIt was this day,â he continued, âthat we were split apart by tragedy and, fifteen years later, brought back together by tragedy. And it was this day I realized he kinda meant everything to me. So I thought⌠That at this show, on this day⌠It would make sense that I ask him something.â
He got down on one knee and pulled a box out of his pocket. âMiles Edgeworth⌠Will you marry me?â
Edgeworth walked down to the stage, hardly comprehending what he was doing. Standing right next to the stage, he met Phoenixâs eye level. âI donât think I could get you out of my life if I tried.â
âIs that a yes?â Phoenix asked, a smile forming.
âYes,â he said with a small laugh, holding up his hand.
Phoenix smiled brilliantly, slid the ring down his finger, and kissed him passionately. Edgeworthâs head was swimmingâ lips, applause, spotlight, laughterâ his own laughter. Phoenix started laughing too, bumping Edgeworthâs glasses into the bridge of his nose. Pain, more laughter.
âSorry,â Phoenix said, pulling Edgeworthâs glasses off and setting them beside him. They kissed again, but they couldnât stop laughing.
âWhat is so funny?â Edgeworth asked.
âI donât know,â Phoenix replied. âItâs just⌠My entire life has been about me trying to figure you out. And Iâve actually figured some stuff out. Like, other people come to me when they want to know about you.â Phoenix laughed. âThat doesnât sound funny when I say it out loud. Why were you laughing?â
âBecause I thought Iâd never be happy. And I thought the only way to feel happy was to get away from you.â He laughed. âNow Iâm happy because Iâm with you.â
Edgeworth put his glasses back on so he could see Phoenixâs eyes, which glimmered with delight. âSo you arenât going to leave again?â
âWeâre getting married, Phoenix.â
âI know!â He laughed. âYouâll never be able to get rid of me!â
âI never could anyway.â Edgeworth smiled. âNow get off the stage and kiss me normally before you hurt your back again.â
âItâs so nice to know you care.â Phoenix got down to Edgeworthâs eye level and took his glasses off. âSee? Iâve got you figured out.â
Edgeworth pulled Phoenixâs head closer, and their lips took much longer to separate this time.

âIt is ver nice to meet you. Again.â Trucy corrected herself, and then she looked at him suspiciously. âIâm not so sure Mr. Hat likes you,â she added after a moment, and Miles looked at Nick, baffled
