Using the minds associated feeling to colour, a theme I learned within my dissertation.

For any advice I give to someone creating loading animations and brand indeitiy inspired by user friendly design. I would recommend you look at structure and how you want to animate. I found it helped working backwards, creating my animation and then finding shapes for the logo that can be transformed into the icons.
