My mom just came in and was recounting how I had been when I came out of my wisdom tooth surgery, and she said that it was the closest she'd ever be to seeing me drunk (I hate alcohol, it's gross).

She said I looked dead and I was absolutely boneless and just would. Not. Shut. Up.

And I knew where this was going, because she then brought up how in my anesthesia induced state, I had basically come out to her and my father in the car while talking about how pretty and beautiful Milly Alcock is.

And then my mother, who has been convinced that I was straight since I was a toddler (to be fair, I was convinced I was straight too, up until a few months ago) tried to gently broach the idea that I could be straight and still appreciate a woman's beauty, so I looked her dead in the eyes and said in a dead serious voice:

"I want her [Milly Alcock] to crush my head with her thighs."

And then my mom was silent for a few seconds before nodding and saying, "Okay. I did not need to know that, but okay."

She's not homophobic, I think she's just trying to wrestle mentally with the fact that I am not, in fact, straight like she and I both thought.

Since there most probably won't be a 2nd season of captivating the king, I suggest a sequel show called captivating the queen, where Yi In convinces Hee Soo to marry him in secret, until the time she is ready to be queen.

And, in the meantime, they will fight off the court schemes while preparing the crown prince to ascend the throne. There will be a lot of sword fight, assassination attempts, a lot of sweet moments, Sang Hwa will teach Jageunnyong how to protect her lady, the Dowager Queen will come back for more plotting and there will be a lot more of sword fight...
