i’m quite sure i’m so9 but i’ve heard about so7 having an aversion to selfishness or being perceived as selfish which i definitely get, i’m curious about some similarities/differences or maybe separate reasons *why* both types may be averse to selfishness/“taking”
omg i love this question :>
i actually don't think the so7 is "averse" to selfishness more-so then they're averse to admitting that they are. a
so7 portrays themself as sacrificial and caring because they are inherently selfish. they want to be admired, compensated, and recognized - it's as if caring for others is a way for them to act on this without seeming "selfish."
on the other hand - the so9 is altruistic because they lack identity, and find a sense of identity through belonging.
