Ravi knew they were absolutely right about being adopted against their will into the group when Hen dragged them past the other dozen or so members of the 118, to where Bobby, Eddie and Chimney were waiting by the rainbow-covered truck. This year it was actually the 118’s ladder truck that was going to be driving in the parade, and a part of Ravi wondered if the sheer prevalence of queer people in the 118 had given them that honor.
Ravi joins the 118 crew in a pride parade for the first time. It's not like they were in the closet before, but they're definitely out now, and it's definitely for the better. @911pride Day 1: Parade!
