One of the most famous episodes of ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ , the 1993 episode ๐ป๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐, features Jerry accidentally agreeing to wear a ridiculous designer shirt on ๐ป๐๐ ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐. The shirt became so iconic that it now resides in the Smithsonian. ย Julian, a commenter on the Smithsonianโs website, claimed the shirt was made by the brand H20 for a Hollywood Boulevard shop called Antenna, inspired by Princeโs ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐ look, and that he himself sold it to the showโs stylist. ย But ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ may not have been this costumeโs only TV moment. In 1994, the same shirt design shows up on ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐, worn by David Hyde Pierce as Niles in ๐จ ๐ด๐๐ -๐พ๐๐๐๐๐โ๐ ๐ต๐๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐. Was it the exact same shirt? We canโt be certain, but a few clues suggest it... ย Both shows were on NBC, and costumes often moved between productions. After ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ , the shirt could easily have been placed in stock and reused for a simple pirate costume request on ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐. It seems far more likely that the wardrobe team pulled it from NBCโs costume collection than tracked down another copy from Antenna. ย What do you think? Let us know at Bit.ly/SciFi042
