I called up Randy personally to see what the problem was. Randy told me that he didn’t think it was good for his “Machoman” image to get beaten up by Harvey the Wonder Hamster. I told him as reassuringly as I could that I seriously didn’t think his fans would really believe that he got his butt kicked by a hamster. After a bit of cajoling, he agreed once again to be on the show. At the end of the conversation, he asked, dead-serious: “Uh… by the way, it’s not a girl hamster, is it?” I said no, Harvey was a manly, manly hamster all the way.
