#707 angst

Spoilers for 707's route ahead! The game is over 10 years old so I wouldn't normally tag it as spoilers but this one shot includes a character first introduced in the middle of his route. Enjoy! Set before MC joins the RFA.

707 has the same routine that he follows every day.

Wake up.

Brush your teeth. He doesn’t always do this one

Put on glasses

Hack some security system

Work some more

Work through lunch

Grab some chips and Dr. Pepper

Work while he snacks

Work through dinner

Maybe play LOLOL

Hopefully sleep

He had been sitting there for a while, clacking away on his keyboard. The area surrounding him was messy—empty Honey Buddha Chip bags and cans of Dr. Pepper littered the small and uncomfortable space where he’d chosen to set up his devices.

MC knew that Seven hadn’t eaten in hours. Frown lines began to crease her forehead as she stared at the back of Seven’s head. She was worried. She was so worried that—against his wishes—she found herself entering into what he’d called his “hacking bubble.” Lightly touching his shoulder, she prepared to ask him if he wanted to have dinner with her. Suddenly, she felt him shudder, and she quickly withdrew her hand, regretting her actions.

“What?” he snapped, quickly pulling down his headphones.

He did not turn around to face her.

MC flinched. In the 7 days she’d known him, he’d never once acted this coldly. There’d always been times where he’d distanced himself from her, but he’d never lashed out at her like this before. The quick change of his personality practically pushed her to the brink of tears.

Instead of asking him if he wanted to eat dinner with her, her emotions got the better of her, and the questions began to bubble up on their own.

“Why…why are you doing this? Don’t– don’t you care? About…about...me?” she asked meekly.

Seven finally whirled around, responding only with a stormy glare. She could see his figure begin to shake, but she couldn’t understand why. Was he angry? Or irritated? Trying to dispel the questions running through her mind, she continued speaking to him in a wavering voice…a voice ready to betray her at any moment.

“Seven, please, can’t you answer my ques–”

“I don’t care about your feelings, okay?! Just… stop. Stop caring about me! You don’t even know me…! Just stop…okay?”

MC’s bottom lip began to quaver. Seeing her reaction to his outburst, Seven sighed.

“Just…just let me work, MC. Leave me alone, it’s…” he trailed off, hesitating a bit.

It’s for the best, he thought to himself.

And without finishing his sentence, he turned away from her in order to hide the anguish and pain in his eyes from hers. He slipped his headphones back on, sat back down, and continued from where he’d left off, typing out the code essential for their survival. Staying focused on this task was difficult;  it took all his willpower not to somehow integrate traces of MC into the code before him.

Once again, with a grimace, he silently acknowledged the secrets he’d hidden from this woman. This woman who was strong, kind, funny, beautiful…This woman he’d unwittingly fallen for over the past week.

To his surprise, he began to hear the sounds of quiet sobs muffled by his headphones. MC was crying behind him.

God…why did it have to be like this? he thought, blinking back bitter tears.

Oh, how he wished that God would answer his prayers. Before, there was only one thing in this world he wanted more than anything: for Saeran to be safe. Now, he realized with a start that he’d been subconsciously praying a new prayer along with the old one.

Please, God, I want to tell her everything. If not everything, then at least let me tell her…let me tell her that…that I… love her...

…He knew there was no easy chance for a miracle. He was too deeply convinced that his wishes weren’t meant to be granted by anyone. Not by God, not by V—

—and especially not by MC.

MC… was an angel. An angel sent from heaven to give him hope and light though his depression and darkness. He knew she could see sides of him that no one else would have ever seen, and she was entirely and utterly perfect. But he knew he wouldn’t dare taint her purity with the darkness that followed him.

No, instead, he would forever be Luciel, a man on the brink of darkness. Darkness that he couldn’t let MC fall into. His heart was in complete torment, but he tried to convince himself it would be better this way. He’d never—never—forgive himself if something happened to MC.

He really wished with all his soul that it didn’t have to end like this.

It was then he realized if things continued this way, there would be so many things MC would never know.

She would never know the guilt he felt the moment he began to distance himself from her.

She would never know how his heart broke the moment he raised his voice at her.

She would never know how desperately he wished he could wipe her tears away.

She would never know…how much he’d fallen for her.

you hate this, you loathe every second you spend locked in this apartment. you hoped having him here would quell your ever-racing mind, yet all it did was stir up extra anxiety in yourself.

how long had he despised you? had he been planning to never get close to you all along? this distance that's now woven between your friendship—the friendship that you'd intended to take further—strangles you at night when you try to sleep.

your eyes are weary when you speak to him now, every step you take to fix things only throws you further down the cliff you've found yourself on.

during your nightly bout of racing thoughts, his words trickle back down to your ears, poisoning any chance of sleep you once had.

‘whatever you want from me, i can't give you. you'll only get hurt trying to pursue me like this, not to mention i don't want it!’

it hurt, it definitely hurt, but you pushed through the dark tunnel in hopes of light at the end. you pushed and pushed, clawed your way back up until he held a decent conversation with you. a conversation that started light and calm, but quickly twisted towards utter disgust as you attempted reconciliation with him.

god, it hurt so much. you use to think that he was just pushing you away, but maybe you genuinely saw it incorrectly. you shone a spotlight on him in your mind, one that washed away all the negatives and placed him on a pedestal. were you wrong for that? did you expect too much of him, or were you just hopeful?

hope isn't a terrible thing, right? you thought and thought, since hope was your only friend nowadays. a conniving, toxic friend that you clung to in fear of rejection.

are you hurting him by shoving your feelings onto him? if the feeling is undoubtedly not mutual, then aren't you making him uncomfortable? the questions you bear with you, looking for the right time to ask, never fall from your lips—never once.

you don't wish to start another fight with the person you love, and ‘wow’ you think, maybe you're wrong for loving him? if he shudders at how you feel about him, then aren't you burdening him with it? would it be best to hide it..?

you're a disgusting person for trying to manipulate your way into his heart, if he closed it off then that's what he desires, right? he doesn't want nor need a single sliver of your affection, so why do you give it to him in handfuls?

as the days grow longer, your shared words are shorter. a mere good-morning creeps up your throat, only to feel it constricting at the thought of it being unneeded, just like everything else. had you fucked up so much, that you can't take it back? you can't even have a friendship?

it's only when you slip out of the apartment quietly to get some fresh air, a hand covering your mouth and dragging you off, your phone beginning to blare with worry-induced calls, that you finally realize—

Ahhh! Sweetie, this one was beyond fun to write! I’m a lover of angst (And a lover of Seven) 

This one is a bit longer than my usual one, but I do hope that you like it!! 

1) “I can’t do anything right!”

“Do You Even Still Love Me?” (Saeyoung X MC) 

The past few weeks had been tough, MC had to admit. Through Saeyoung trying to reconnect with his brother, and track down Rika’s whereabouts, he now had to conceal him and his brother’s presence from their father. From such noticeable activities as of late, the prime minister himself has started snooping around.

MC understood the weight that was resting on Saeyoung’s shoulder and tried to help in whatever way she could. That, she decided, would be to stay out of his way and help him indirectly. She became Vanderwood a maid of sorts, cleaning up behind him and making his food. He never said anything, deciding to focus on his work, but the look in his eyes was all she needed to keep going.

But today has been worse than usual. MC didn’t know all of the specifics, but he almost blew his cover. Thankfully, Saeyoung was a skilled enough hacker to cover over his mistakes before anyone could catch on, but his heart remained heavy. Not knowing what to do to help him, she decided to make Bungeo-ppang for him. Saeyoung was so surprised the first time she made them, and she would try to make them when he was upset.

Knocking on the door, MC held a plate of the fish-shaped bread. There was no reply, only the steady clack of keys. “Sae, come on. You haven’t moved all day, come get some food.”

Nothing.

Sighing, she reached for the doorknob. Locked. MC stopped, her face marked with confusion. He had never locked himself in. Sure, stopped talking, eating, drinking. But he had never locked her out like that. She pursed her lip, slowly pulling a bobby pin from her hair, causing it to fall. Sticking it into the lock, the door opened with little resistance, but Saeyoung remained looked away, headphones over his ears.

Mc approached him, softly placing her hand on his shoulder, missing how his eyes faltered before he regained his steely composure. “My love, please? It’s very late; you’ve been at this nonstop all day, you need to take a break.”

“Can’t.”

“You can, you know. You’re good enough to be able to take some time to sleep, or even just eat.

Her statement didn’t get a response, just a small hum in reply. MC didn’t mind. Hell, she’d be helping him hack if she knew how to. Unfortunately, the only things she knew how to do was picklock and hotwire.

“Well, even if you don’t want to, I do need some rest. But I don’t want to leave you, so..” She left her sentence hanging as she set the plate down in front of him, deciding to lay down behind him, wrapping her arms around his back. “I’ll sleep here with you. So you can stay here even if you do choose to sleep.”With her behind him, he let his emotion show through, as tears stained his cheek he replied with a soft, “Thank you.”

She awoke to a loud bang in another room. Looking around, Saeyoung was nowhere around, but daylight was beginning to creep through the window. Fearing the worst, MC rushed out into the kitchen, armed with a pocket knife she keeps in her purse. Instead of an intruder, she found Saeyoung crouched in the corner, surrounded by broken glass plates and… eggs?

MC had an urge to laugh, but immediately stopped when she heard broken sobs.

“Saeyoung? Sae, baby? Are you hurt?” She calmly asked as she approached him, trying to avoid the shards of glass around him.

“No… But it.. doesn’t matter…” He choked out, stifling his tears.

MC finally managed to reach him, not before stepping on a piece of glass. It had hardly even mattered, gasping more out of shock than in pain; but it was enough for him to look up, the expression on his face dropping a pit into her heart.

“I can’t do anything right!”

Sucking in a breath, MC reached out to comfort him, but Saeyoung swatted her away. Instead, he gripped her wrist, his thumb pressing into her palm.

“I can’t find Rika, I can’t hide from my father, I can’t hack fast enough, I can’t keep Saeran safe, I can’t even make this shitty breakfast for you!”

Saeyoung’s breath hitched as he looked up at her for the first time, eyes expressing what words could never say, “Oh, MC, I can’t even protect you. You’re the love of my life, and I’ve been the cause for so much pain. I mean…” He let go of her hand, cradling himself with his hands wrapped around him. “Do you even still love me?”

He laughed harshly before she even got a moment to reply, “Of course you don’t, I mean, how could you? I’ve risked your whole life. The only reason you’re here is probably out of pity and even then-“

“Saeyoung Choi,” MC interrupted, placing a few fingers on his soft lips in an attempt to stop his anxious thinking. “My love, I am staying here because I choose to. Not out of pity, or guilt, or any other reason than because I love you! I have loved you since the moment I met you and that will never change, no matter what happens.”

Even as Saeyoung shook his head and tried to rebuke her confession, she persisted, “Sae, you are the smartest person I have ever known. You have done so much, but all you see is what you have yet to complete. You have kept Saeran and me safe from everything. You’re skilled enough to keep us safe, and I couldn’t dare ask you for anything more. I don’t think I could live without you.”

With a smile, MC extended her free hand towards him. Reluctantly accepting it, the two of them stood up; where she immediately burrowed herself into Saeyoung’s arms.

“You are perfect for me the way you are. I don’t think I could live without you… No matter how many plates you break or eggs you drop.” Hiding her sniffles with a giggle, she looked up at him, placing a small kiss on the corner of his mouth. Saeyoung embraced her tightly, leaning onto her shoulder, savoring the comfort of her scent.

The two stayed for countless moments. At this moment, there were no problems, no missions, no reason to be afraid, no eggs surrounding them, it was only them, frozen in this space together.

“I think I’m about to pass out..” MC muttered, her voice muffled. “Your shirt is trying to suffocate me.”

Without skipping a beat, he began laughing, releasing her from his grasp. MC made a dramatic display of inhaling, placing a hand on her chest. Neither could hold back their laughter now that they look at the eggs strewn around them.

“If I may ask, what were you even doing?”

Saeyoung shrugged awkwardly, saying “A little after you fell asleep, I decided to join you. But I could only sleep for a little bit. It was still dark when I woke up. I got up to start working, but I saw the Bungeo-ppang you made for me. I promised that I would take just a moment to make something for you because you’ve been doing so much for me. But I, uh, my hand got too closer to the burner when I was putting the eggs on a plate…”

Without meaning, MC couldn’t help but laugh. He was a mess, she completely understood that. But he was her mess, even with his perfections and his faults. Saeyoung was her life and MC wanted nothing more than to be by his side through whatever he faced. For the two of them to stay together, she would face the whole world.

Lacuna- An unfilled space or interval, a gap.

He’d been dreaming, recently.

Of sunshine and warmth, of the smell of her hair, her, maybe of smiling redheads too much like them-

They’d be warm and safe, they would have nights of him teaching her all about the discs of light above them, paying more attention to her than to his lessons, watching how her eyes cradled the stars suspended above her-

He’d been dreaming too much, recently.

He’d been an idiot.

Like his guardian angel, she had shielded him after the nightmares wounded him, guarded him against the demons inside him, and filled the holes in his soul with feather-soft kisses and honeyed words.

And during the times when that wasn’t quite enough, she’d offer him her pulse, her heartbeat, tethering him back to reality with a single gesture. (For all his joking about being her Defender of Justice, in reality it was her who defended him)

So he’d decided to make a gesture of his own, by bringing her to this secluded park, ring box and speech weighing heavy in his pocket.

After a lot of wine and laughter, he’d been fumbling with his words, working up the courage to ask her the damn question- when the world ended.

A shout had shattered the silence, (presumably a generic villainous “I’ll destroy everything you hold dear, you bastard 707!) a shot had rung out, and now he was cradling a shuddering and gasping girl, hoping and praying that the ambulance he called would get to them in time.

He reached for her wrist out of habit, desperate to feel the life thrumming through her- and it was there! Unsteady and fading, but there! They were both breathing, both alive, they could hold it out! They can make it!

He’s crying from relief, until she opens her mouth.

“Sae- Saeyoung, tell them, the RFA, that I-”, she gasps, holding his gaze with her own.

“Shh, angel, shh, you’ll tell them yourself! The ambulance will be here any second, and after they fix you up, we’ll eat crappy jello and video call the gang and we’ll tell them whatever you have to say! You got that? You just hang on tight, angel, okay?”

She smiles at him weakly.

“Saeyoung.”

And he knows. He still doesn’t want to believe it, but now he knows. Or maybe he’s always known, because he’s been trying to memorize small nothings this whole time (like the way holding her feels like hugging a timid butterfly, the way her eyes take in the view before them and make it seem a little brighter, the new freckles on her skin that look like cinnamon), feverishly committing every bit of her to memory.

“Don’t leave. Please don’t leave me all alone.”

It’s pathetic, he knows, but he can’t stop himself. He needs her. He loves her so damn much sometimes he wonders if he breathes for her alone-

“I’m so sorry, love. I’m so sorry.”

No! No no no no no no no no no! Doesn’t she understand? A life without her is like a picture ripped in half- there, but incomplete. His dreams were of the pair of them, without her, there’s this, giant, gaping hole that only she can fill and- why? Why is she leaving him? She’s been with him through Saeran, Mint Eye, V, Rika, the bomb, the party, why is she leaving now? He doesn’t understand, he could never in a million years understand why.

“You have to be brave love, you have to be strong. You can’t fall to pieces, the world needs you good and whole and that big heart beating. You understand?”

He’s about to retort that no, she’s the brave one, he can’t do this on his own, he wanted her to marry him, when the hand he’s holding goes lax, and the eyes that held so much in them become glassy and reflective.

Yoosung was so nervous when you said you were feeling contractions.

He rang Seven asking for a lift to the hospital.

Once they arrived you were whisked away by the nurse and sent into the maternity ward

Yoosung sat nervously in the waiting room as the rest of the RFA slowly arrived.

The nurse came out and called Yoosung aside.

When Yoosung first heard the news that you didn’t make it , he fell to the floor and just sobbed.

He couldn’t even form a sentence.

He already lost Rika, and now he lost the love of his life.

He was brought in to see his newborn daughter.

He was still freaking out.

He was scared he wouldn’t love her as much since it would remind him of you.

But as soon saw his daughter.

He saw the same sparkle in her eye that had.

He held her tight to his chest and did not want to let her go.

He cried into her and vowed to protect her forever.

                                                 ZEN 

When Zen was told you had passed away, his first reaction was anger.

Why did this have to happen to him?

Why did this have to happen to you?

He punched the wall and didn’t even feel his knuckle break. 

The pain of you being gone was enough.

He just broke down and cried.

The RFA sat and watched him, not knowing what to saw or do. 

He was brought into meet his son. 

He looked down at him.

He had beautiful white hair like his own.

But golden eyes like yours. 

He promised to him that he would always love and support him, unlike his parents did to him.

His tears turned into a small grin as the baby cooed in his arms.

                                                JAEHEE 

Jaehee was so excited when you told her that you were going into labor.

She was finally going to met the child you two had spent so long trying to conceive. 

She rushed you to the hospital. 

The labor was tough but Jaehee held your hand the entire time.

She got extremely anxious when the doctor asked her to leave the room. 

She sat out in the waiting room with the RFA. 

When the nurse came out and asked to speak with Jaehee 

Jaehee began to weep as the nurse explained to her that you had passed away. 

She blamed herself.

She should’ve been the one pregnant.

This would’ve happened if she was the one pregnant.

The nurse brought her in to meet her son. 

Jaehee kissed his head and smiled through her tears. 

                                                   JUMIN

 Jumin had hired the best doctors in the country

How could things have gone so wrong?

When he was told the news about you passing,

He turned cold.

He sat there for a few minutes in silence.

No tears.

You were gone. 

The one who taught him how to love was gone.

After minutes of silence in the waiting room

Jumin buried his head in his hands and began to wail.

The RFA members sobbed with him. 

The nurse came into the waiting room and asked if he wanted to meet his daughter.

His daughter???

She survived?? 

He rushed into the ward.

She had beautiful brown hair like her mother.

And piercing grey eyes like him.

He found it very difficult to warm up to her for the first few weeks.

He just reminded her so much of his love.

But when she smiles at him for the first time.

His cold heart begins to heat up again.

Saeyoung was beyond excited for the twins to arrive. 

He sat in the maternity ward with you holding tightly onto your hand as you pushed.

The first twin arrived and it was a little girl with bright red locks like his one.

Saeyoung giggled and cooed at her

Things started to go wrong whoever when the second twin was coming out.

Saeyoung was asked to leave the room and he began to stress out.

He paced around the waiting room until the nurse called him into the hallway.

She quietly sobbed as she broke the news.

Saeyoung leaned up against the wall and a tear rolled down his cheek.

In that moment, all the depressing thoughts that you helped him get rid of came rushing back.

He wanted to join you.

But he couldn’t.

These kids weren’t going to suffer like him and Saeran did.

He went in to greet the newborns.

The little boy looked exactly like you.

Saeran came in, and hugged his brother and they cried together.

Saeyoung prayed to you and promised to make sure these kids had the best lives ever.

He still prays every night asking for you to come back to him.

V was patiently waiting outside the room.

Poor boy didn’t want to disturb you or the doctor.

He was so excited

Until the doctor came out to him to tell him you had passed away.

He didn’t say anything and just fell into his seat.

His mind was spinning.

This couldn’t be true.

He quietly sobbed and thanked the doctor for all his efforts.

Jumin came in and sat by his side trying to comfort the inconsolable V.

The nurse came out and asked V did he want to meet his son.

V stood up and slowly walked into the ward to find his boy lying there.

He had his blue hair and your golden eyes.

He flashed a smile at V and his heart melted.

He gently picked him up and rocked him in his arms while walking around the room.

He whispered sweet words to the baby as his eyes welled up again.

                                                  SAERAN

Saeran had mixed feelings about the upcoming baby

He was nervous that he wasn’t capable of being a good dad. 

When the day finally arrived he was a nervous wreck. 

He stayed out in the waiting room because he could not handle seeing you give birth.

Saeyoung sat out with him, he was more excited then Saeran really.

Until the doctor came out and gave them the bad news. 

Saeren grabbed the doctor by his coller.

Crying and screaming at him.

Saeyoung had to pull him off. 

They both fell to the ground together and Saeyoung held Saeran in his arms as he wailed.

Saeyoung tried his best to calm him down be he was inconsolable.

The nurse calm in and ask if he wanted to meet his daughter and Saeran just barked at her telling her to get out. 

He didn’t know how to function like a proper human being without you.

You were the one who helped him his overcome all the pain he suffered from mint eye.

Who even was he without you?

Saeyoung finally convinced him to meet his daughter. 

She had curly red locks and the same eyes as you. 

He gently picked her up, he was honestly scared to hurt her.

His entire body shook with pain and sadness. 

Saeyoung placed his hand on his shoulder. 

“We are gonna get through this Saeran.”

Summary: She shattered the walls he spent so long building up.

“Hacking him…how can you be so sure this will work?”

Director Jeong Hee assessed the speaker. Although he was in his late thirties, his hair was rather gray and stuck out in many directions. His clothes looked like they’d been thrown on, without having been ironed. It was…unprofessional. And in his jittery, wrinkled hands, he held a coffee mug.

People stopped typing on their computers to get a good look at the scene before them. In the computer lab, Jeong Hee and his crew of hackers worked without stopping.

“I’m certain it will work,” Jeong replied curtly. “If he’s like most hackers, he’ll let his guard down.”

It’s just a matter of when…Jeong added silently. He smiled a rotten smile, and said, “Now go get me a donut.”

The man’s shoulders slumped. “But sir—”

“I said—”

“Sir, we have a security breach,” a guard called to him, three other guards trailing quickly behind him. “We’ve been hacked.”

“Any identity on the hacker?”

“Not quite,” the guard showed him the screen.

Jeong cursed. Then, glaring at everyone around him, he demanded, “what are you waiting for? Get to work!”

He knows…

“Saeyoung, do you have something to share with the rest of the class?”

The boy lowered his laptop screen, realizing the whole class was staring at him, particularly Y/n. With his face heating up, he said quietly, “no.”

“Either pay attention or get detention.”

He closed his laptop and stored it away. I guess staring at cat pictures will have to wait.

“Anyway, as I was saying…” the teacher continued, and Saeyoung pulled open his notebook. He was about to doodle his friend’s cat, Elizabeth the 3rd when Y/n tapped his shoulder.

“You were staring at cat photos,” she said with a slight chuckle.

He nodded. “How do you know? They could’ve been pictures of that Zen guy.”

“Somehow, I doubt that,” Y/n said.

Their following conversation was held in nothing but whispers. When the bell rang, Saeyoung asked Y/n, “do you walk home from school or take the bus?”

“I walk,” she replied. Then, with squinted eyes, she asked, “do you want to walk me home?”

Saeyoung laughed, “Yeah, I do.”

She smiled. “Alright. See you then?”

“Yeah.”

As soon as they gathered up their stuff and headed out the door of the classroom, his phone chimed.

He pulled it out of his pocket, then groaned.

Someone was trying to hack him.

Better get rid of them…

In a secluded area in the school, Saeyoung sat with his computer and his phone, working hard to hack into the security of the people tracking him.

He was careful not to leave any marks declaring it was him. In fact, he left marks of his alias. As far as they knew, he was some amateur hacker, who lived in some small town away from the city.

And his trademark? Cat photos he found on the internet.

While he hacked the security system and distracted them with his alias, he tampered with their files. Why were they hacking him?

With a heavy sigh, Saeyoung clicked through the electronic files.

He quickly scanned over them, then left the security system. After closing his laptop, his thoughts kept returning to the documents.

How do they know me?

As soon as he was back to class, he couldn’t help it; his mind kept returning to those hackers.

Y/n stared at the clock.

C’mon, c’mon, her feet tapped against the floor beneath her desk. Her fingers drummed on the desktop. Other students sent glares her way.

She tossed her long brown hair over her shoulder and dropped her chin into her hand.

“Y/n,” her best friend, Yoosung whispered. “Why are you so antsy?”

“I can’t help it,” she whispered back. “I’m walking home with Saeyoung today.”

His eyebrows rose. “I mean, I can understand being antsy to play LOLOL, but walking with Saeyoung?” He shook his head with a small smile.

Y/n slumped in her chair, watching the clock again. Five more minutes…

They couldn’t pass slower.

The teacher began to pass out homework, and Y/n stared at the handouts.

Why is everything against her today? She had five pages of homework in this class alone!

Yoosung leaned over the aisle. “I can’t believe you’re so antsy.”

“I mean, we hardly ever talk anymore. It’d be nice to talk to him again.”

Yoosung nodded. The classroom door opened, and the school’s rich kid, Jumin Han, walked in. Yoosung groaned and slumped in his chair too.

“What’s wrong?”

“He’s friends with V.”

“I see,” Y/n said, although she didn’t get it. What’s wrong with being friends with V?

She didn’t say it out loud though. Yoosung never talked to her about V, and she was pretty sure there was a reason for that.

The bell rang, but Y/n was the first out of her seat and down the hall in a flash.

She just couldn’t wait to talk to Saeyoung.
