TXF Updates (July 27th)
Louis kept fixing his fringe. (x)
A guy with long hair in a bun was performing and Louis said “it’s a no from me for the hair” and “don’t man-bun it, don’t man-bun it.” (x/x/x)
Louis kept readjusting himself in his chair, possibly because his cushion kept falling off. (x)
Louis said one act’s performance was the most bizarre thing he’s ever seen on the show and that it felt wrong and that it was scary. He said he’ll remember it, but not for the right reasons. When Ayda and Robbie said yes to the act, Louis’ facial expression was notable. (x/x/x)
A 64- or 65-year-old woman (there are different accounts of her exact age) performed and said she wanted to prove that you can follow your dreams at any age and Louis was smiling and agreeing. (x/x)
Among the judges, Louis was being quiet and talking the least. (x/x)
Though Louis didn’t talk that much, he got straight to the point, used technical terms, and was always encouraging to the contestants (x).
Louis and Robbie brought a tattoo artist in and according to fans, they were going to give each other tattoos that they’d chosen for each other. Then fans said that it was actually Ayda who was going to tattoo Louis and Simon who was going to tattoo Robbie. Fans didn’t get to see what the tattoos were. (x/x/x/x/x/x/x)
The cameraman was pointing at Louis even when he wasn’t talking. (x)
A child (apparently it was Eric, Simon’s son) went up to where the judges sit and Louis’ face lit up. (x/x)
Simon always leans close to Louis and touches him like he’s trying to show his superiority over Louis and it’s very uncomfortable to watch. (x)
Louis told to a girl band to do fewer dance moves and to “look at each other in the eyes happily.” (x)
Louis told a contestant that they’re a genius. (x)
Louis flipped Simon off when he asked for a change in song. (x/x)
Louis threw a Bourbon biscuit at some fans in the audience. (x/x)
A contestant sang a self-written song about his mom who passed away in 2015. After the performance, Louis said he was on the verge of crying and went up on stage to hug him. (x/x/x/x)
A group performed Drag Me Down and they weren’t very good, but Louis said yes because of the “great song choice.” (x/x/x)
