Journalist: Both of you participate as songwriters and composers in two songs of Zayn Malik, reminding that he is an ex member of one direction. [The songs are] 5th element and Fatal, did you know that this songs were going to be for Zayn? How was all this process?

Ricky: Yes, we knew it was going to be for Zayn. We knew Zayn like 7 years ago in a studio that we have in Miami he came to record there, but nothing happened there and years later we we met again but because a producer, that is the same producer that did with us Hotel Caracas and now was working in this album of Zayn.

And they were looking for a specific color, to give something different, that could be in thinking melodies for music in spanish with lyrics in english so that was a bit like our role for those 2 songs and we put those melodies there. You could imagine that Zayn can write with whoever he wants [...]

Journalist: And how it was meeting him?

Ricky: Well I met him years ago and it was good, very good, a sympatic guy but quiet but we don't have like a friendship but we have a working dynamic and now with the technology I work here in my studio, send, record, send like that.

Mau: And honestly with who we have a good relationship is with the producer Malay that we love him and he was the bridge that give us that opportunity.

Journalist: What you were inspired to make those 2 songs?

Ricky: Well I think the inspiration was... Mau: To think that we could have a song with Zayn. Ricky: With Zayn and look for interesting melodies and sonically propositions interesting for them.

Journalist: Of course, who knows in the future you could collaborate all singing, a feature.

Ricky: It could be, of course, we already have 2 songs and a lot of things we are connecting.
