What they smell like:

They smell like aftershave and the Bolian equivalent of old spice, with a hint of gin and tonic. They don’t need aftershave seeing as they LITERALLY don’t grow hair at all, but they were imposed with the human concept of the gender binary at a young age, and so they put it on because it makes them feel euphoric.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

Ok so they curl up in a ball for warmth and cover themself up with blankets when they’re sleeping alone, kind of like a hibernating bear. Naturally, they’re the little spoon when they sleep with 3.

Before meeting and rooming with 3, they usually went to bed as soon as their shift was over, mostly because the Birostris was short-staffed as far as starships go, which resulted in shorter breaks and longer work hours, and also because they were lonely as fuck and barely did anything with the rest of their time other than ocassionally play Dom-jot and watch low budget monster movies.

After they started rooming with 3 and actually started like. Forming a bond with him that wasn’t “we just exist in the same space”, they were awake for stuff more often (like, they started watching movies and tv shows every night so that 3 could decide what his favorite movie was, what genre he liked, etc.). Around the first two to three years (I haven’t figured out the timeline just yet, shut up), they slept alone normally, but there were scenarios where they would sleep with 3 because of his constant night terrors giving him anxiety. They started sharing a bed on the regular, and they both insisted it was just because of 3’s night terrors getting worse, but it was really because they were in this weird dating limbo and they were both too repressed to acknowledge that. This continued on until they actually started dating and devoted a quarter of their sleeping schedule to making sweet tender love to each other.

Also 3 has a habit of asking existential questions at night, which sometimes leads to them having full on discussions on either the nature of the universe, or stuff like if a cucumber counts as a fruit, and that takes a toll on both of their sleeping schedules.

What music they enjoy:

Their favorite music is human jazz, specifically around the 1930s - 50s and 60s and 70s lounge music. They also were really into Bolian pop music when they were a teenager (which is similar to like 2000s pop music, but it’s off key by human standards and they all open with a similar riff that sounds like someone banging on a metal bucket with a large stick) and they revisit it when they’ve ran out of stuff to listen to.

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

Usually 30 minutes. Sometimes they’ll shorten their regime when they’re not feeling it, and sometimes they’ll cry in the shower for a long time, but it usually takes them 30 minutes.

Their favorite thing to collect:

They collect a lot of things, but they definitely cherish their MST3K video tape/memorabilia collection the most, because I like to think that’s their main special interest.

Left or right-handed:

Ambidextrous.

Religion (if any):

They’re kind of… unsure about it altogether and aren’t really worried about it, so agnostic.

Favorite sport:

They hate sports.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):

The first thing they always do is go antique and thrift store shopping, or whatever equivalent that is for the respective planet.

Favorite kind of weather:

They strongly prefer warm weather because they like wearing short sleeved button ups and they also get cold very easily, which really sucked for them when they were living with their dad, because he lived in a really cold area of Boliarus. However, they’ve grown to like colder weather more because of the extra layer of comfort and intimacy when cuddling up to 3. Like, just the fact that they’re braving the cold together by being next to each other, and taking comfort in knowing that someone you deeply care about is there.

A weird/obscure fear they have:

They’re afraid of letting people in. Like they seem like an outgoing person on the surface, so you wouldn’t assume that, but they panic at the prospect of someone wanting to get to know them. This is due to their imposter syndrome and how they’ve observed relationships in the past, and it’s something that they gradually work on, but even so, a part of that has always sort of lingered with them.

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:
