Victories today: 1. I did not die. Even though I felt like I wanted to. 2. I walked out of the gym on my own. LOL! Leg day is not for the weak... 3. I went up by 20 pounds (to 100) on leg press. 150 reps. 👏Bless👏it👏Jesus!👏 4. I added 5 more pounds on the definitely HATED abdominal crunch. 5. Although I alternate leg and arm day, core day is every workout. I went up by 20 pounds on the row (for back) at 100 reps. 6. I stayed consistent on all the other machines. 7. My daughter loves going with me and working out. We have our goals. We're rocking them! How bout those Glamour Shots circa 1993?!?! 😂😂😂😂😂 Ok, so after my post on Facebook about the MAJOR weight difference between the past 14 years and now - which I'll work on posting here, I've had some people ask me for a comparison between my "younger" years and now. This is about what it is. 19 on the left vs. 44 on the right, taken on Thanksgiving day, last week. 25 years of difference. Say whaaaat?! I am IMMENSELY thankful for my genes and my skincare system! LOL! I'm glad that I don't look my age or feel it, but I'm even more grateful for the wisdom and knowledge, as well as the maturity I've acquired along the way through lessons learned, over the years. Thing is, it doesn't matter the outside. If you haven't learned, matured, had personal growth and transformed for the better on the inside, NO amount of makeup or good genes are going to make you attractive. I thank God every single day that, while I'm not where I want to be yet, I am nowhere even close to where I once was. I thank God every single day that I am still here on this planet because there are decisions I made when I was much younger that should have taken me from this earth. But God is obviously not finished with me yet. With age SHOULD come wisdom and maturity, but that isn't always the case. I'm just glad God didn't give up on me before the wisdom and maturity came my way. And I'm glad He doesn't give up on me when I make mistakes...which is more often than I'd like. About to start getting ready for 5 star, wine pairing, girl's night out dinner at the only Forbes 5 star rated ranch in the world for my last night here. It's going to be a total LBD night! I'm sad to leave because I have cherished this time with @his_gurl89 and her family. What a GIFT it is to be able to spend this time with her. ❤ But, I'm missing my kids something awful!
