i've just noticed another difference between león and diego
rn in 2x30 vilu is doing terribly and is pushing herself over her limit and diego is literally just enabling her. he's enabling her incredibly self-destructing tendancies (which yeah, obviously, cause him and ludmila are actively trying to sabotage her and this is one way to do it)
while if it was león, he would've tried to get her to relax, to calm down, to chill. and would NOT have encouraged her to keep actively fucking herself over (and she would've LISTENED)
and i feel like that's also kinda the case for lara, to a slightly lesser extent. how león is often self-sabotagizing these episodes and she kinda enables it. like how he skipped school in 2x28 and she was completely fine with that. and obviously she's not his mom or anything, it's not her resposibility etc, BUT at the very least she could've been like "no, you shouldn't skip school" or something. or at least been a LITTLE worried about him skipping school??? in general he just kinda fucks himself over these episodes and she doesn't bat an eye because it benefits her
