I've had this downloaded for a while but finally watched it. I didn't really find the imagery very cool or interesting until the last third and then I also didn't really "get" it. Like yeah onee-chan is dead let's recover her soul in christian world and other esoteric inspirations but personally I didn't really get anything out of it thematically. Doing very cursory research some ideas become more apparent although I don't know that I'd consider the short to necessarily be saying anything about them, and again since the imagery didn't really get me to reflect on anything or whatever I just didn't get a lot out of this for a while. Oh well.
