I've been mentally planning to watch this for a while now even though I guess I never actually added it to my ptw list, but a friend watched it the other day and so I decided I had to before we vc. Main OVA wasn't bad at all but didn't really captivate me, I actually thought the manner movie was pretty funny, and the special episode I liked more than the main content because it's just cute moe shit lol.

Notably the OVA was theatrically rereleased with a couple extra minutes of content and that Movie version is a separate MAL entry that the friend in question marked as complete, but I've kind of been unable to find it online necessarily. Or rather I'm torrenting a raw copy of it but it's taking years. MAL and anilist disagree on the lengths for both the OVA and movie cut and, the OVA is definitely 30 minutes but MAL claims it's 28 with the movie being 30, such that I'm pretty sure my friend didn't do as much research as I did and thinks he watched the movie when he probably didn't. Hell if he did and he found a copy of the movie online with subs when I couldn't I'd be really surprised. I should ask my friends with private tracker access to check those actually. Anyway all goes well I'll either edit this post or just make a new one to clarify my findings about the movie and maybe or maybe not mark it as complete myself. Gaming.

I FOUND THE FUCKING DEAL. So I watched the movie originally. The movie may as well be the only version of this that exists online in fact, the OVA is extremely difficult to find. Anilist says the movie is 34 minutes based on wikipedia which says it's 34 minutes based on an old ANN article from before it released saying the OVA would be expanded to 34 minutes of length in its theatrical release. This, I have concluded, just turned out to be wrong. After definitively downloading TWO separate torrents with gekijouban in the fucking name TELLING ME OUTRIGHT that they are the movie, and confirming that they were the exact same length as the video I watched which I was certain was the OVA, I decided to do the only logical thing. And I hunted down the original OVA. As in, I found the oldest thing uploaded on nyaa when searching Orgel, which yeah it was the OVA, the torrent predates the movie's release whatsoever, and it's 28 minutes fucking long. And I made sure to watch it and I couldn't even remember what 2 minutes of stuff the movie had added. But that's not the point! Anilist was wrong, wikipedia is wrong, I solved the fucking mystery, I watched every Orgel thing, and to be comprehensive I looked at all the blu-ray bonus shite and even the fanbook that exists. By the way the oldest torrent is from fucking 2010 it has 22 people that have completed it ever (23 including me) and it had 1 seeder but actually it downloaded super quick because thankfully they're a dedicated fucking seeder. But yeah I successfully Orgelmaxxed and I NEED to tell anilist to get their shit together.
