I read a fic in 2022/2023 (?) from Steve’s pov set after season 4 where Eddie is purposefully not letting himself get close to Steve and it’s pissing Steve off cuz he wants an age appropriate male friend or whatever. The one thing i remember is Steve sees Eddie hug Johnathan and that’s like his last straw. He says “you’ve gotta be kidding me” or smth along the lines of that, and he charges up to Eddie. Robin notices and tells the kids to leave cuz she knows Steve’s gunna be bitchy lol. Basically Steves pissed that Eddie’s been everyone else’s friend but his after s4 and he forces him to be his friend and it’s an enemies to friends to lovers situation. Someone help !!
