Once Sherlock has realized that John moved on after his suicide, he does all he can to throw himself into helping prepare for John’s wedding. This contrasts sharply with his previous stance that the Work is all that matters. Sherlock’s dedication culminates at the end of the episode (and in His Last Vow) as he vows to protect John and Mary’s new life and follows through on that promise. And following John’s lead from A Scandal in Belgravia, Sherlock reveals his full name for them to use for their child. Blissey can sense sadness by their fur coat, and they will rush over to the sad Pokemon or human, no matter how far away, and share their egg with them.

Even the most ferocious and upset Pokemon or human becomes calm and happy when they eat Blissey's egg.
