Something I've come to realize while writing The Boys fic that is not Homelander focused as a Homelander enjoyer is that there is always a way to put Homelander at the center of it all. That's just the nature of that world. Look at the Gen V trailer and promos. He's not even there but he is very much front and central to center anyway. He is truly the Regina George of The Boys but he is the Regina George that is actually 100% right.

Everyone really is obsessed with him. Hughie has Reggie Franklin AKA A-train AKA Joker for-the-way-he-murdered-Robin-and-got-away-with-it in his sights and is like, "Nah, Homelander is my main enemy now." Everyone has a big fat lesbian crush on Homelander pretty much and that's a fact.
