almost 11 months ago, he set a historic new record lap (1:09.954) in monaco and became the first and only f1 driver to set a sub 70 second lap there!

then he won his first monaco gp from pole and secured the fastest lap, completing a standout weekend!!!!! and (later) during méxico race week, lando shared that he's gone without delta time on his steering wheel during quali since may 24th
lando: i think the thing when i don't have it is, i push no matter what, no matter how the start of the lap was, no matter how any corner was. (...) it's just nice because normally when it goes well, like today, it's a pleasant surprise to see the lap time pop up when it's as good as this one 😊😊
