Introspective Reflection-- A lot of my characters have a very active internal dialogue, whether that's because the character themselves are very introspective or because I enjoy writing through a character's thoughts, I'm not fully sure. I enjoy seeing the way a character is thinking versus how they are acting, whether that's opposite action and thought or how the action arises from the thought.
Tragedy and Angst -- I do love a tragedy and I love the character drama that comes from angst and working through emotions. I do have some light-hearted threads, but my writing tends towards the more grounded, leaning towards angst.
Struggling Against the Narrative -- Sort of implied by my url, but I love a character that seems to have some particular fate (narrative) and is doing everything in their power to defy that fate. I love a second option or a third option even, when a character is shown the 'possible' paths and decides to make one of their own instead.
Probably run-on sentences oops -- I love a long, rambling sentence with too many commas and I'm so sorry about that! If there's ever a time you (the reader/RP partner) need something adjusted for clarity, please tell me!
Active Narrator Voice -- I haven't had the chance to do this much on this blog, but I enjoy a very active narrator voice, even and especially when it's a third person POV. Sort of like how Terry Prachett would editorialize in his writing and make the narrator seem like a character in the story as well, in addition to whatever other characters the story is actually about. I still do that a little bit with Nico, but I haven't found as much of a chance to do it on the multi here. (Although if/when my Dodger muse ever comes back from the war, he'll definitely have that.)
