what doesn't get talked about enough is that when you're disabled/mentally ill, you don't have the same energy, ability, or money for hobbies and meetups and conversations as you used to.
so you just end up feeling like you're more boring than others. like you're less worth talking to than them, or unreliable. maybe you keep turning down invites, or maybe you're just not up-to-date on recent shows because of a string of headaches.
but you have to fight those feelings. maybe you're not doing as much or talking as much as before, and that might lead you to spiral into black-and-white thinking. but the situation's never doomed. life's on ultra-hard mode but you can still find ways to enjoy it.
