       With a deep inhale Kale paused for a moment, holding his breath for a good while before releasing what was left of the hit he’d just taken of the joint he’d lit. Hazel eyes glanced up at the blonde he’d managed to corner into a conversation at this party, he was a bit intoxicated, not to mention he was getting his creative juices flowing with the pot he was smoking. Kale was sure he’d find some corner to scribble down in his notebook some crazed idea later. Arching a brow he held up the joint as if asking if she wanted a hit before he spoke. 

         “I’m just saying--- it’d be pretty fuckin’ awesome to write an article about you,” he repeated, or at least, he thought he was repeating it. Squinting at himself Kale glanced at his other hand which held a red solo cup. How he’d gotten to this point was beyond him but he was bound to offer writing an article about someone or something by the end of the evening anyway, may as well be this pretty lady than anything else. Drawing his attention back to her and then the joint, Kale took another generous toke only to hold it for another while.

         Honestly, he had been minding his own business, snapping pictures of the building and people exiting said building of his current article, it wasn’t like anyone believed his allegations but Kale was out to prove them. Being discovered in his not so discrete corner of the lot across the street wasn’t in his plans and upon being seen the brunette cleared his throat and dropped his arms to casually stash his camera out of view, dark gaze moving to glance at the person who had somewhat surprised him with their appearance. “Oh, hello---” He commented, offering a small smile to distract. 

          “Look, I just find it fascinating, okay?” What he was investigating at the moment might have been dangerous, but that was more than likely what fascinated him about his choice of topic to research. And by research, he naturally had to get himself into the worst amount of trouble he could possibly manage, so here he was, arguing to keep doing what he loved to someone who couldn’t change his mind. “I don’t care if I get hurt or... whatever, I gotta keep searching for the truth.” Whatever being death, of course, but he didn’t voice such things, not around others.
