“Red velvet? That is honestly the most basic flavor. Definitely less than an ice cream cake.” 

“The usual Halloween stuff, haunted houses, candies, costumes, bad scary movies, trying to hunt a ghost maybe.”

If his brother could see him now. Charlie would have a heart attack at even knowing he was drunk and next to a criminal- especially one that broke into his home. Rodgers hated when Charlie brought his job into things, being in law enforcement and all. Back before he was famous he had to sneak around to even get a fix and being a hooker wasn’t on his brother’s approved list of professions for him. At least now he only had to hide the fact he dabbled in some drugs.

“Sitting?” Rodgers questioned as if his brain had forgotten what that was. His eyes went over to where the other was pointing and he gave a nod, noticing the ache in his legs. He hadn’t been standing long but he did not want to be standing for much longer.

“I can plot my master plan to get you back over there.”

Finally, the other accepted the offer and suggestion to sit, the last thing Hayden wanted was to have to drag him to a seat. With an eased motion Hayden did his best to only half assist the other over to where he had gestured and soon enough he was seated and his gaze was searching for someone to bring him a drink. Catching the eye of a pretty waitress Hayden motioned to her and she eventually made her way over to him, with a bright smile, perhaps too confident for most, the man ordered another round of drinks, although he was sure the man across from him talking about master plots of revenge didn’t need another drink. 

“Don’t hurt yourself with that, hon,” he commented with a soft chuckle once the waitress was gone and he returned his attention to the other across from him. “You’re really set on this, getting me back shit aren’t you?” It was amusing and that much showed in the smile he flashed, shaking his head and running a hand through his hair to push it out of his face, letting it then rub at his neck and then around to his chin as if he were pondering something.
