Okay so obviously spoiler warnings for literally all the movies. But this group would make such a chaotic space crew.

Grace and Mark are the only actual scientists.

Sam was a lunar technician/solo mining operator, but not really a fully fleshed out scientist.

Mickey and Simon are definitely the lowest level of knowledgeable when it comes to the actual science behind space stuff.

They're all traumatized.

Mickey was treated like a lab rat and died multiple times from various different things. The way other people treated him definitely affected the perception of himself he had and self worth. Not to mention dying of different illnesses would leave anyone severely traumatized.

Mark was basically stranded on Mars and had to deal with the threat of inevitable starvation and isolation, we see multiple scenes of him having mental moments in the different stressful scenarios.

Grace was literally forced into being a savior. Lamb to slaughter. He had to regain his memories which was most likely scary as hell to not remember anything about yourself. He was also looking at inevitable starvation/death for awhile there.

Sam was a clone. Who watched the previous clone breakdown and die. Also, realizing you're a clone because an older version of you shows back up at your space base? I'd be in denial too. Not to mention the fact he has a three year time limit on life unless he finds a way to avoid the fate his past clone had. And that everything he knows is not his own memory but the memory of the original Sam bell.

Simon was a prisoner. Basically also forced into sacrificing himself for the greater good. He had to deal with hallucinations and a lot of bodily injury and modification. Also being confronted with horrors beyond comprehension probably didn't do him any favors.

I would imagine mickey would be much more afraid of anything harmful and deadly due to him knowing he's not going to be brought back anymore. Aka extreme hyper vigilance and paranoia.

Mark would have specific rules around rations due to almost having to face the fate of starving to death. More people means more mouths to feed which means more stress.

Grace would probably just be happy to have more humans around most likely. Especially the ones who have similar backgrounds, mark, maybe Sam.

I feel like Sam would find a sort of relatability in mickey, because while they're situations are completely different since mickey can remember everything previous clones went through, but in a sense they're both technically clones of an original. The major difference would be that mickey signed up for his cloning and Sam had no clue he was a clone.

Simon would definitely be worried about being imprisoned again. Cause after what he went through last time there's no way in hell he's trusting the prison system. I feel like he would relax a bit around Sam and mickey after learning their both also at risk at being hunted. (Mickey for being doubles at one point, and Sam for leaving the moon base clones were definitely not supposed to leave.)

Mark would probably be the only one to be truly surprised by rocky, Mickey's already seen alien life, Sam has seen a clone of him literally fall apart so there's not much that will shock him now, and Simon literally faced down a much bigger and much scarier alien.

Almost all of them have had bad experience with authority figures. Meaning they definitely would not be comfortable conforming to any government or organization.
