“That tends to be dangerous thinking. Uncertainty can do that however that’s not what you came to me for,is it?” Luca’s voice was soft and smooth as he addressed her. He was simply a tool at her disposal currently and it was refreshing, though he was positive she’d waste it. His abilities would barely be tapped as he did whatever this would be. “What do you need me to do Jami?”

Jamison rethought her original request for Luca to use his powers against the prisoner in custody. He could get into big trouble if he got caught but if he were to interrogate the HYDRA agent then maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. “I need you to make someone hurt, break them and bring them so low they don’t see a way out. Drive them insane with regret and agony, I want to make them bleed- emotionally,” Jamison explained with a darker tone as she dropped her eyes and sighed softly. “I need you to break them, I don’t care what they confess to don’t stop until they’re begging you to kill them, then do it some more.”

“Ты говоришь по-английски?” she asked gently before teasing lightly, “Вы должны мне кофе.” She smiled to show she was joking and hoped he would open up a bit more even if they were merely strangers in an exhibit. She had met a lot of people in her line of work but there was something about this man, something tugging at her. Like she should know him from somewhere.

“Heroes aren’t always the ones who win,“ she said. "They’re the ones who lose, sometimes. But they keep fighting, they keep coming back. They don’t give up. That’s what makes them heroes.”

      “You remind me of my pinkie toe…. – Little, cute, and         I’ll probably BANG you on the coffee table later tonight.” 

“That’s a new one,” she said smirking at him amused. “Where’d you find it? The inside of a gum wrapper? C’mon Mr Maximoff, you can do better I bet.”

“I apologize for not being more useful Miss….I’m not sure I’ve caught your name.”  

“Jamison, no miss needed just Jamison, or Markes if you prefer formality,” Jamison said slowly offering her hand. “Agent Markes, you work with agent Talis don’t you? Everyone talks about them, about you both really. It’s kinda cool to finally meet you, um, there’s more of this stuff on the sarcophagi if you wanna come check it out with me?”

isn’t he lucky that they just so happen to be her favorites?? he’s proud of his   random  choice as he watches the other with a smile.   ‘   a good one, i hope??   ’  probably not a spectacular one, but he doesn’t   really   care. at least he gets to put a smile on their faces, especially jamison’s.  &&   of course he too grins at her response,  ‘  really?? none of the other girls let me do that.  ’  the speedster replies, teasingly.

Jamison smiled mysteriously when he asked of his reputation and decided not to answer him. Instead, she took her flowers and chocolates and nodded for Pietro to follow her towards the lounge. “If you’re comparing me to other girls you clearly don’t know me as well as you thought,” she teased walking into the lounge and setting the flowers in a glass of water before opening the chocolates and popping one in her mouth. “Seriously though, why me? Did you draw my name from a hat to flatter this week?”

    “That is none of your business. I do not     answer that question to someone like you.     I am in a better condition now. Are you     sure you’re cleared for judging people     as if they care what you say?”

“Whoa there grumpy gills I’m just checking on my sparring partner,” Jamison said holding up a hand and getting bristled herself. “It’s not like I can’t just read your file like everyone else has done but no I’m asking for conversation. No judging,” she  muttered under her breath about jackasses but went to her water bottle. “If you’re hurt we’ll call it a day.”

“  i do not. who told you that??  ”  pietro replies with a roll of his eyes. he may flirt with   SOME   women but not as many as the rumours say.  a smile appears at her question before he nods, even though he had no idea,   “  I did. actually.  i heard you mention it before…  ” 

Jamison smirked at the silver haired quickster before burying her nose in the snowdrops. She didn’t know there were any florists in the city that had them but she was also pretty sure she had never mentioned her fondness for them to Pietro. Maybe Wanda told him. “You have a reputation Mr Maximoff,” Jamison giggled before grinning, showing off her white teeth and dimples as she took the chocolate from him. “Come on, you can help me eat these.”

sure enough zemo wasn’t a proper shrink but no one had NOTICED. if bucky wanted to talk he would to steve or natasha or any member of the avengers if he was honest. “ an’ im not about to talk to someone who’s going to write everything down and relay it back to some higher up in a fancy office. setting his shoulders and shaking his head slightly he answered the offer. “ i just want a lawyer, an independent one. ”

“He’s the best defense lawyer in the tri-state area, he’s got a legal team that would rival SHIELD’s. Specializes in this sort of POW stuff, for soldiers who were forced to kill during wars or after conditioning by captors. I did some research on him, his rates are good but I don’t think it’ll get that far. Our PR department is working on releasing some further information on why the Winter Soldier did what he did.”

❛ As a matter of fact I am, yes. ❜ Pepper followed her gaze, looking at what she thought was the matter of this conversation. ❛ Mr. Stark and I certainly are still on speaking terms which means whatever you need him to know or need to ask him, he will know of it. ❜ Taking the schematics, Pepper took a quick look at it before looking at Jamison again. She certainly didn’t know nearly half as much as Tony did about mechanics, however, she was willing to give it a try. She could still hand it to Tony afterwards. ❛ That would depend on what you need help with. I do know some bit about mechanics, but of course I will show them to him if my help isn’t sufficient. ❜

Pepper’s voice was an autumn breeze carrying with it the scent of strong coffee which had Jamison perked up more than the coffee she was actually drinking had done her. She looked at the weapon on the table and walked around the table. “I’m having trouble with the dispersal system,” she explained walking up to the glorified taser on the table. “It’s supposed to deploy a shock to any sort of communication or navigational system say in tanks or in military suits but I can’t get it to fire properly,” she tangled a hand in her red tresses and tousled the loose locks. “It always short circuits on me and ends up shocking me instead of the target,” Jamison looked at her hands and flexed her numb fingers. “My hands are getting numb from the shocks and the last one almost knocked me across the room.”

offence is jokingly taken as he frowns at her question,  ‘  what makes you think i stole them??  ’

“Because you flirt with too many women to buy us all chocolates and flowers,” she teased looking up at him and smelling the flowers. “How did you know these were my favorite? D I D you know these were my favorite?”

a pause and bucky gnawed on the inside of his cheek for a moment.  “ do you KNOW any good lawyers ‘cause if im LUCKY this is going to court. ”

“Sorry, I’m not much help but if it’ll make you feel better I’ll call in a few favoris and see about attorneys. SHIELD has a plethora on the payroll for when the Avengers mess up. Our legal department gets paid the most, I think,” she said. She hadn’t meant for it to come across as a joke but given her statement it may have sounded like a weak attempt at making light of the situation.
