(Seawing biology/anatomy based on where they live)

It's been a very long time since I touched the books nor the Wings of Fire fandom, but for some reason I came back. I always liked the idea of creatures being different based on what habitat/part of habitat they live in, and I thought it would be a cool concept if I also applied it to our beloved dragons. Here's a few quick sketches of Seawings (sorry if there are some grammar mistakes or the writing is unreadable, it was the middle of the night and I didn't bother to double check or make it prettier).

(All have similar traits like Seawings, making them fall into that category)

1. Inspired by crocodiles/alligators, catfish, and other creatures living in rivers

2. Heavily inspired by whales and orcas

3. Inspired by deep sea creatures, these Seawings also have slightly different variations compared to the previous two (longer or wider jaws, body size, etc)

Sure they look nothing like the original design, but that is the point in a way

I might make another post adding more details and maybe do this with other dragons species that are in the books

Not my usual content buuuuut...

Honestly I am not very sure what or why I drew this, all I remember is that I couldn't sleep and that I had sudden urge to draw a forest creature... then I woke up to see this

I do know it's a doodle because the lineart is a bit of an unfinished mess, but at the same time I'm really wondering why it looks a bit better than how I usually draw facial features (I really like the eyes, and especially the hair)

This was my first time doing this, I have no idea why I did it besides loving the cosplay, and maybe because it's the middle of the night.

Was stressing more that during my finals, but I am glad everything turned out better than expected :D

I know that this is probably a lot of fandoms (there is much more), but here I am. There is more of old WIPs in my gallery that I didn't post, but so far I'm only sharing these ones

I'm also thinking of posting some of my older drawings that are actually finished, but so far it's only a thought in my head

This one was done quite quickly and roughly, but I still like it. Or at least how the fur came out. I love the fur
