a human, minotaur, lizardman, and insectoid walk into a bar are shackled together and thrown into a dungeon...

I probably would have finish it sooner if I didn’t get the ending spoiled for me like 3 days after the expansion came out (and while I don’t mind spoilers, the fate of a certain someone did kill my enthusiasm a little bit lol) and also if I wasn’t so busy with the material sink known as guild halls.

so...eir stegalkin.  let me just get this out of the way.

i’m not upset or mad, but i am kind of disappointed that the writers went the most predictable route.  i mean most of community saw this coming.  granted i fell in with the crowd that wanted eir to become a druid while braham gets her bow and becomes a dragonhunter...but if i want to be perfectly honest i dreaded this coming since the end of LS S2 when eir and braham have their last conversation and eir says, ‘when this is over, let’s go hunting in the shiverpeaks together.’

part of me wonders if i would have been more okay with eir’s death if marjory’s sister wasn’t also fridged early in S2 and if the personal story already didn’t have a lot of norn women dying for no good reason.  (i mean there are A LOT of needless character deaths in the latter half of the orr/pact personal story, but the norn women stick out most in my mind since i was disturbed by that trend.)  i guess i should be glad that i genuinely do care about eir and i don’t have the story telling me that i should be caring about a character whom i just met and is going to die in the next--or even the same--story step...but whatever lol.

why was faolin in the jungle again?  did i miss something somewhere?  like it’s been a LONG time since i’ve done TA story, but all i remember is that we kicked her out of the dungeon...and that’s it lmao.  

i mean the only ideas i can come up with is that faolin was tracking caithe, like she’s done in the past, and got captured by mordrem or that the writers just want caithe to angst more what with faolin being changed into a vinetooth chimera thing.  i’m hoping it’s more the former and not the latter.  and i’m hoping there’s more nightmare court stuff than the little tidbit faolin says when she was in the cage.

oh yeah and i had the fate of a certain character at the end of the story somewhat spoiled for me hahahaah. :’’’)

Ravenlark uses the ambrite weapons set, and ever since the reaper elite spec was announced, I’ve been dying to see her wield the greatsword.  Was finally able to give it to her this past BWE and she looks so good with it. ;^;
