For clarification's sake, is this true everywhere? I ask because I know that different countries have different quality home electricity provision; American home electricity Ain't Great compared with most of Europe, for example. In Wales I have never heard of this being a Thing, but our electricity comes in 240V flavour, so possibly the higher current naturally avoids this issue?

My British husband (not an electrician but electrician-adjacent) says yes this is true in the UK as well - anything that uses a lot of power should be plugged directly into the wall rather than an extension lead

How great would it be if the love confession happens when Eddie is trying to sacrifice himself to save Buck, and it's all sad and sweet and campy. And Buck is inconsolable. Nearly in hysterics. Hen is ready to sedate him. And Eddie walks out unharmed. Eddie gets checked over and Buck is frozen. And as soon as Eddie is cleared, Buck double checks: "He's completely unharmed? Not even smoke inhalation? Great!" And just decks Eddie in the face (gently, that the lohl) and while Eddie is just reeling from the shock, Buck grabs his face (gently) and kisses him. And Eddie melts into Buck, but Buck steps away and tells Eddie: "You do that shit again, I'm raising Chris alone." And walks away (still shaking, needing to calm himself) and Eddie's just grinning and everyone else is Confused™️
