DEAD MAN

Fully can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this at any point, even on Twitter, but I have the feeling I haven’t so I want to make it known that Jisoo actually has a history with swimming. He got into when he was about twelve and just kept with it throughout school, having joined a proper swim team. It was something he enjoyed but it was also a really good way to do away with any excess energy (of which he had a good lot growing up). When he was around sixteen or so, his parents made him quit the team because he wasn’t a great student -- because, as I’ve explained before, he had a hard time focusing and he’d grown despondent in a system that didn’t really work for him -- and his grades were suffering. They saw the extra activity as a distraction and insisted he should wait until he had finished with school to focus on anything like that, even if it was mostly a hobby for Jisoo. 

(Anyway, joke’s on them because he dropped out less than a year later lmaooooo!! Byeeee!)

To this day, swimming is still his preferred means of stress relief and a favoured form of exercise. He tends to try and go for a swim, wherever he is, at least once or twice a week but during holidays from work, he’ll go every morning. It’s a way for him to relax and tune things out. In the water, it doesn’t matter what your troubles are out in the real world.
