Hey everyone, sorry I kind of vanished there. I don't know why, but I really ran out of steam for writing. I'm trying to get back on the ball. Like I said, I have ideas, I'm just having trouble transitioning from X to Y in a way that doesn't make these two seem like they're just getting nonstop pummeled. I guess I could maybe do a time jump? Seems like a bit of a cop out, so if you have opinions, let me know. I think chapter 17 of Death Is a Delightful Hiding Place is done, but I want to sit on what I wrote for the day and edit it tomorrow with fresh eyes.
It was a little condescending, but Guy really did enjoy it when someone held him like this. It was getting better, so he knew that there was a good chance the medication was starting to work. Unlike people using the medication for something a bit hard to quantify, it was very obvious when Guy's powers were overwhelming and when they weren't. He vaguely remembered that Jasper got the things on the list, which meant he looked through Guy's notes on everything.
It felt strangely violating for someone who could read minds. Maybe that was because, as a telepath, he knew his mind wasn't safe.
