last song: Does Teenage Rebellion by Sarah Barrios count from watching the intro on the latest D20 episode? Well I guess it doesn’t matter if it does because I didn’t remember the last song before that and shuffled the playlist I was listening to so I could pick a random song from it and it was Teenage Rebellion anyway.
favourite colour: I’ve been saying turquoise for years, but I don’t think it is anymore. Lately I’ve been drawn to pink, but I think that’s just temporarily overreacting to suppressing my positivity towards it. Maybe atomic purple?
last movie/tv show: If Dropout counts (which I’m not sure why it wouldn’t, but it kind of feels like maybe it wouldn’t), then Dirty Laundry. Otherwise, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies.
sweet/savoury/spicy: On a ideological level, sweet. But in practice, I like all 3 in moderation and none an extreme amount. Or maybe it’s that sweet is my favorite but I have the lowest tolerance for it.
last thing i googled: So if we want to be technical about it, it was “google search history” and before that “macos smb share so slow” (yes I put the word so in my query because I think it was mostly to vent while I waited for my files to transfer because searching didn’t find the answer the last 10 times). But some other recent searches were “scarred elf” (looking for some inspiration photos for a D&D character who is an elf wild magic sorcerer), “Fabian Aramais Seacaster”, and “edwardian era”. Oh yeah, and I guess I was accidentally in a Private tab, but “transbian” a few minutes ago because it looked weird when I wrote it and I wanted to make sure I was spelling it right.
current obsession: my gender, Dimension 20
last book: I’m currently reading Save the Cat Writes a Novel and The Magicians as research for the novel I’m writing (can’t write a magical school series without having read one of the most popular magical school series), but when I’m done with these the next one I really want to read is either Leah on the Offbeat or Legends & Lattes depending on the mood I’m in.
last fic: It’s been a while since I’ve read one, so I’m not sure. Only ones I’ve come across lately are… steamy in nature, so I haven’t really been reading. There was one for Your Name I read recently with basically an alternate version of events where Mitsuha and Okudera end up together (as it should be!), but it wasn’t very good.
looking forward to: Leaving my current job within the next year or two. There’s a lot to love about it, but the parts I was excited about turned out to be way more work and more stressful than I expected, and other responsibilities got piled on that are just completely incompatible with my ADHD and sap all of my energy and motivation. So I have a plan to try and get my own stuff off the ground by the time I finish grad school next year (making grad school pointless, but I don’t want to leave with half a degree), and if I don’t, I’ll have a shiny new Masters degree in my field to find a new job.
