2. when steve was going on about how shield needed to be dismantled and burned down, fury replied “look I didn’t know about barnes” bc while steve was upset that hydra had been allowed to grow, it was bucky (his Achilles heel) that was fueling his immediate and while rational, fairly emotional response

3. had him standing alone, thinking of the day of his mother’s funeral and how bucky had been there for him when he needed the support the most

4. had sam remind him, “he’s going to be there, you know” & that not everyone can be saved, while alluding the the fact that steve would not and probably couldn’t stop bucky if he had to
