"...hyung?"
The two youngest members peeked around the door to Minho's room, taking in the sight before them. The curtains were drawn haphazardly, letting in a small beam of sunlight but otherwise keeping the room in darkness. The floor was a mess, plushies that were usually arranged with care on the bed now strewn all over the floor.
A lump of blankets on the mattress twitched at their call, but the owner of the room didn't emerge.
"What?" The second oldest grumbled, his voice scratchy. Seungmin and Jeongin frowned, glancing at each other. It sounded like he'd been crying.
"Channie hyung said to tell you that dinner will be ready in half an hour." Innie said quietly, his usual confidence dwindling at the sight of his hyung so...down?
"...'m not hungry." Minho huffed, finally throwing the blankets off his head. His hair was all fluffy and messed up, which would usually be adorable if it weren't for his red eyes, puffy cheeks and frustrated expression.
The vocalists almost flinched at how annoyed he looked, before they realised that he wasn't upset at them - the messy room said enough. He had clearly gotten frustrated while trying to clean, and that piled on top of waking up late this morning, the coffee machine breaking, and being scolded by a step-in vocal coach seemed to be the breaking point for the kitten.
Seungmin slowly stepped into the room, gesturing for Jeongin to do the same.
"...hyung...are you okay?" The puppy asked softly. Minho clenched his fists, mumbling a sharp "yes", before the tension in his shoulders left and he all but deflated. He sniffled, and that was all it took for the usually stoic second-youngest to sit on the bed and pull him into a tight hug.
Minho struggled for a moment, before slumping into his hold, burying his face in his shoulder.
"...'m sorry. I'm just..." He murmured, geusturing with his hands sharply before sighing heavily. Seungmin hummed, briefly locking eyes with Jeongin, before beginning to rub their hyung's back gently.
"It's okay." He reassured, his hands straying from their path up and down his spine to rest on his sides. Minho's breath hitched, but before he could get away, Minnie's gently pushed him down onto the bed.
"But I think we can repay you for all the times you've cheered us up..."
He tugged his shirt just enough to slip his head under, before laying down between Minho's legs and wrapping his arms around his waist tightly. Minho groaned, shoving at the puppy's shoulders, but he was well and truly stuck.
"Wait-"
Seungmin took a deep breath, blowing a raspberry straight onto his bellybutton. Any protests the kitten might have made were lost in his cackles, legs kicking weakly and hands shoving at Minnie's head, trying to dislodge him. The second youngest hummed against the soft skin, the vibrations only making the older boy laugh harder.
"NahaHAHAHA- wAHAhahait!"
While Seungmin littered nibbles and raspberries all over their hyung's torso, making him squeal and giggle and hiccup, Jeongin got to work. He picked up all of the plushies across the floor, setting them down in a neat pile. Then, he opened the curtains and folded the clothes that were heaped on the desk chair. By the time he was finished cleaning, Minho was red faced and teary eyed, Seungmin having focused his raspberries on his lower stomach.
The maknae sat down behind Minho, watching Seungmin finally remove his head from the kitten's shirt, panting for breath. The youngest of the three gently tugged Minho to sit against his chest, wrapping his arms around him loosely and nuzzling his nose into the crook of his neck.
"Awh, you look so cute hyungie~ so red and pretty for us, hmm?" He cooed, nibbling at the nape of his neck and making him squeak. Seungmin grabbed his legs, stretching them out a little, before placing his hands on his thighs.
"Any last words?" He teased, but Minho couldn't have said anything coherent if he wanted to, because at that moment they started the attack.
Jeongin's hands dug into his ribs, spidering up and down the bones like there was no tomorrow. One would dig into his armpit while the other darted down to scribble at his stomach, while he nibbled and blew raspberries against his neck.
Seungmin kneaded at his thighs, lightly scratching mean little circles with his nails over the fabric of his sweatpants. Occasionally he would pinch at the junction between his thigh and his hip to see him jerk away.
"Wha- whahahahahy?! Stahahahap!" Minho shrieked, his heels digging into the mattress and arms flailing. Every time he defended one spot, it would get worse in another, leaving him a little disoriented.
But oh, there was a brilliant smile on his face. Childlike giggles and happy squeals filled the air, as he gave up trying to fight back and instead melted against Innie.
The two younger boys softened at the sight, slowing their ruthless attack to gentle scritches and fluttering of fingers so that their poor victim wasn't panting so hard, but still all giggly and cute.
"Do you feel better, hyung?" Seungmin asked, leaning forward to curl up at the older boy's side - a rare but sweet action from the puppy. Minho wrapped his arms around him, resting his head on Jeongin's shoulder as he caught his breath.
"Yehehes...yes, I feel better." He mumbled, glancing around the room and realising...it's clean? He looked at Innie, shock on his face.
"You...you cleaned everything up?" He murmured, his voice a little choked. He'd been so overwhelmed by the tickles at the start that he hadn't even realised when the maknae had given him a helping hand.
Jeongin hummed, smiling knowingly and squeezed him tighter.
"You were obviously stressed about it." He said, glancing over at the alarm clock on the bedside table.
"Oh, look! It's time for dinner." He said, grinning at Seungmin.
"Channie hyung made your favourite, hyung! Don't say you're still not hungry~" Seungmin teased, before jumping off the bed and flinging the door open.
"Last one there gets the last pick~" He called, and Jeongin quickly scrambled up, a disgruntled "hey!" leaving his lips as he sped off.
Minho chuckled, slowly getting up off the bed and following them out.
"Yah! You two better wait for everyone else!" He called after them, snickering at the muffled argument he could hear.
Turns out he just needed a helping hand.

"Get back here! Jisung!" Hyunjin yelled, almost skidding on the slippery floors as he chased after the quokka. Han squealed, giggling nervously as he quickly ducked under the table.
Hyunjin stormed over, crouching down and reaching to try and grab the younger boy's ankle, but got his hand kicked at.
"Nohoho! Please!" Jisung shrieked, screaming again when the ferret finally managed to grab his foot. He desperately tried to drag himself away by holding on to a table leg, but Hyunjin had a firm grip, and he was ungracefully yanked out from his "hiding spot", into the waiting arms of his captor.
"I knew it! You took my hoodie!" The taller boy exclaimed, standing up and throwing Jisung over his shoulder like he weighed little more than a cushion. The aforementioned item of clothing was indeed what the quokka was wearing; the soft but well-loved blue fabric draped over Jisung's squirming torso. All the members loved that hoodie - it was thick enough to keep you warm, old enough that it was stretched out and faded and baggy, which meant that they all could wear it. It was rare that Hyunjin actually had it in his closet, despite it technically being his.
"I'm sohorry! I wahas cohoHOLD!" Han shrieked, kicking his legs as he was unceremoniously dumped onto the couch, Hyunjin flopping ungracefully on top of him. He groaned, attempting to squirm, but the added weight on his chest just wouldn't budge.
Fingers wormed into his sides, pinching and kneading the soft, squishy skin there. The ferret rested his chin on Jisung's shoulder, his nose nuzzling into the crook of his neck.
"You were cold, hm? Well, I'm sure you can share some of this warmth, then..." He purred, hands slipping under the hoodie to reach bare skin. Hannie squealed, his heels drumming against the cushions.
"ACK! Your hahahahands are sohoho cohoHOLD!" He giggled, ducking his chin and yelping when Hyunjin laughed against his neck. Then those evil fingers were back, digging in to the crooks of his ribs and vibrating in the spot between his chest and armpit, making the poor lee howl.
"NoHOHOHO!"
"Yehehes~" Jinnie mocked playfully, nibbling at the junction between his neck and shoulder while his hands finally reached their target. He stuffed his fingers under Hannie's arms, the long digits clawing into his underarms with renewed vigour.
Jisung practically screamed, hips bucking so violently that Hyunjin was almost thrown off, but his body eventually went limp, leaving him to just laugh and laugh and laugh.
"Hmm, I wonder why you weren't wearing a shirt under my hoodie, Hannie? Did you want this? Is that why you stole it in the first place?~" Hyunjin teased, and by the way the younger boy's ears burned, he knew he hit the jackpot. He softened the tickles, just tracing light circles in the sensitive hollows with the tips of his fingers to keep his lee giggly.
"Y'know, I can't get my hands out with your arms down so tightly~ you'll have to lift them a little, baby..." He purred, cooing as the boy immediately did what he asked. He sat up, scooting down to sit on the boys hips.
"Last spot, Jisungie. Where do you want it?" He asked, already knowing exactly what the boy would ask for. He was proven right when the younger shyly lifted the hoodie, exposing his stomach.
"Can you- can you do the...the um..." He mumbled, forming his hand into a claw before quickly hiding his face. Hyunjin cooed, pulling his hands away and lifting them back above his head, gently pressing them against the couch cushions before letting go.
"Of course~ you know how much I love this cute little tummy of yours..." He teased, giggling at how red the quokka's face had become. He formed his hand into a claw, wiggling his fingers before quickly lowering it over his belly button. Jisung immediately started cackling, arching his back only to slam it back down again. But not once did he complain.
When Hyunjin finally let up, he made sure to give Hannie plenty of cuddles and wrap them both up in a blanket. The members came home to find them both curled up on the couch, snoring softly as a movie played quietly in the background. And if Minho snapped a few pictures of them both...well. It was just for blackmail, of course.
In reality, this is exactly what he wanted from the start. But none of us are really that surprised, now are we?
